Watford v SAINTS - Match Thread

Which is why I am saying it's bespoke and you wouldn't be able to buy Saints system off the shelf. The data is provided by our scouting network.

Data (input of output) is not software. Check it out.

Software Layer: DB

Input - data

Output - report / query result

So the unique bit is the data and reporting as you say. Not the software.

I'm pretty bored btw

I can see why we've changed formation. It does seem have helped Targett & Cedric who have had more protection behind them. Not sure caulker is at all at home in a back three though and its really affecting our ability to try and play any football. Right now we're a threat with Long on the break. I'd be tempted to try and bring on JWP quite soon. With Caulker in the side we seem dangerous from set pieces & we could do with his quality of delivery.

This was always going to be a battle, so far we have coped well with Watford's pace compared to the Everton game. The only worrying factor is we are relying on Targett and Cedric to provide the outlet on the wings when we go forward and sadly, they haven't provided many crosses, well Targett hasn't. Wanyama/Davis/Romeu are all doing well but we need one of them to break more often. As for Caulker he has had a mixed game at least he's made some decent challenges and an important intervention to stop Watford going 1-0 up.

Majorly disappointed with Pelle who is having one of those I can't be arsed games.

Unsurprisingly Davis proving as ineffective in his preferred position as he has been in defensive midfield. Can we pleased have Juanmi or Tadic on at half time before our forwards lose the will to live?

LOL, usual suspect, no attention to the game, just showing your usual personal issues. Why am I not surprised?

On a lighter note , I have just seen this on the BBC Everton match report

#bbcfootball Dear Everton, would you like to swap Stones for Lovren, Sakho, Enrique and Borini? Come on. Won't be the first Blue to turn Red

Also on a sad note . Just seen that a couple of Worthing footballers died yesterday in the air crash . That alone puts life in perspective . Saints will be getting a right shafting from RK and the lads hopefully will wake up and win this game

Not surprised to see the lack of passing. This formation was created for the long ball for the Pelle flickfor Mane, or the long ball for Mane behind the defense, and now he is hurt, so... now what, RK?

As I said before the game Davis is not the player needed. He had two counter-attacks and totally rushed the play with passes straight to the opposition both times. Tadic or JWP are better suited for the attacking midfielder who can create something. I mean... anything, someone, please! :(

I wouldn't be a bad idea to bring someone else who can create and set-up an attack, the type of player Fabregas, Mata, Ozil and Cazorla are. Not saying of that caliber, I mean the type. Someone who has a clue of how football is supossed to be played.

Horrible... by both sides.

I love the 352 formation but you just simply cant have 3 defensive type midfielders in midfield, you need a more attacking one and 2 box-box types. The whole point of 352 is you can comfortably attack knowing you have 3 defenders behind you, attacking with numbers!

Yes Caulker is crap we need to get rid, he only had a England cap cause he played a few games for Spurs, he would of never had that chance if he was not at a "top club".

Data, reporting and front end. Everything apart from the database.

So let's try this again shall we.

As far as you are concerned, every Oracle, Sap, AS400 system in the world is non-bespoke, that's what you're saying? It's all the same.
