Lighthouse Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 Man Utd draw 0-0 at home to Newcastle. The rest are about to kick off.
OttawaSaint Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 Norwich 0 - 1 Stoke. Watching Spurs, their defense is a shambles...
stevewanyamasfcs Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 Norwich equalise and Bournemouth 2 up!
Lighthouse Posted 22 August, 2015 Author Posted 22 August, 2015 Just bought Creswell for my FF team so this makes sense. I bought Gomis too, so expect a miraculous turn in form for Sunderland.
Saints foreva Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 West Ham are all over the place. Bournemouth should be 3 or 4 up.
adrian lord Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 We face the looming spectre of Bournemouth eclipsing us this season unless we improve dramatically. The Cherries were very unlucky in their first 2 games and what's transpiring so far at wetSham is not a surprise.
angelman Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 Saints in the relegation zone at the moment Paaaaaaaaniiiiiiiiic
OttawaSaint Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 Spurs lucky, clear penalty turned down for the foxes. Ref had clear view...
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 West Ham could do with a bit of bite in midfield, someone like Joey Barton would do them well.
stevewanyamasfcs Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 What is it with people changing their season predictions after each game?
Wrensup Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 So much for the Bilić revolution, looks like that Arsenal win was dumb luck.
Wrensup Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 So much for the Bilić revolution, looks like that Arsenal win was dumb luck. Scrap that....
Jimmy_D Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 Have to say, looking forward to MotD tonight, seems to have been a cracking set of games today.
andoru Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 Spurs 1-0 up. Damn them. Bournemouth look terrific today. Really kept their heads up since throwing away the lead. West Ham have looked worse than us at the back today.

Mystic Force Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 Screamed some obscenities at Pochitino when that equalizer went in. Bournemouth West ham must have been quite a game to watch even the last few minutes they showed was tense.
Lord Duckhunter Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 The Jeff mostyn love in on sky is a bit OTT. Why the **** is Soccer Saturday interviewing a chairman after the game ?
The9 Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 We face the looming spectre of Bournemouth eclipsing us this season unless we improve dramatically. The Cherries were very unlucky in their first 2 games and what's transpiring so far at wetSham is not a surprise. Hilarious. We will finish comfortably above them.
Saint86 Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 What jenkinson did, has to be just about the worst defending I have ever seen. Just awful!
adrian lord Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 Hilarious. We will finish comfortably above them. I sincerely hope and expect so, but stranger things have happened...
Saint Charlie Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 Bournemouth playing with the kind of positivity, spirit, total support from the fans and passing footy we have the last couple of seasons. So much pace in the front players, a good, calm Manager. Good chance of staying up IMO.
The9 Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 Something highly suspicious about the West Ham v Bournemouth match, particularly Cresswell's performance, I haven't seen a player make so many high profile mistakes, amble back when supposed to be marking someone and generally look so disengaged for a long time. What was Boruc doing diving the wrong way for West Ham's 3rd too?!
The9 Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 The Jeff mostyn love in on sky is a bit OTT. Why the **** is Soccer Saturday interviewing a chairman after the game ? They've just done a documentary on them on Sky Sports, not sure if it was a one off or not but obviously built up a bit of a rapport.
The9 Posted 22 August, 2015 Posted 22 August, 2015 What jenkinson did, has to be just about the worst defending I have ever seen. Just awful! Everything Cresswell did in the entire MotD highlights I saw was worse. Even when winning the free-kick at the end he was just trying to waste time and not beat his man whilst a goal behind.

Saint Charlie Posted 23 August, 2015 Posted 23 August, 2015 So not long until they start losing there best players too! Probably not. Wilson already looking a good player at this level, quick, strong and can finish. Probably in the £15m bracket by end of season.
CB Fry Posted 23 August, 2015 Posted 23 August, 2015 We face the looming spectre of Bournemouth eclipsing us this season unless we improve dramatically. The Cherries were very unlucky in their first 2 games and what's transpiring so far at wetSham is not a surprise. City, United and Chelsea are facing the looming spectre of Leicester City winning the league. They're, like, top and everything.

Diabolus Ex Machina Posted 23 August, 2015 Posted 23 August, 2015 West Brom penalty saved. Absolutely terrible pen though.
S-Clarke Posted 23 August, 2015 Posted 23 August, 2015 A player of Pedro's quality available at £20m, yet WBA's own Berahino going for £21m. He's like 5 or 6 levels down from Pedro. WBA are pretty trash though. Really don't rate them as a team, seemingly no quality what so ever. And any team who has Mclean as a starter deserves to go down.
Diabolus Ex Machina Posted 23 August, 2015 Posted 23 August, 2015 Even with our poor start you'd have to think that with the likes of West Brom, Sunderland, Villa and the 3 promoted teams we shouldn't have much to worry about in regards to relegation.
Nolan Posted 23 August, 2015 Posted 23 August, 2015 A player of Pedro's quality available at £20m, yet WBA's own Berahino going for £21m. He's like 5 or 6 levels down from Pedro. Only way to correct the prices is to scrap the ludicrous home grown rule.
angelman Posted 24 August, 2015 Posted 24 August, 2015 Chambers looking very dodgy. Lovren not much better. Lolana not playing. Clyne anonymous so far.
Saint Charlie Posted 24 August, 2015 Posted 24 August, 2015 Liverpool look good. Clyne everything you would want in a full back: solid 1v1 and can make good runs forward.
Plastic Posted 24 August, 2015 Posted 24 August, 2015 Hate them. Hate their stupid new balance shirts. Hope they lose 6-0
Plastic Posted 24 August, 2015 Posted 24 August, 2015 If they win I'm going to have to listen to the smug **** Liverpool fans in my office telling me how brilliant Brendan is. Sad thing is, I work in Newbury, and there are 4 pool fans in my office, but it's ok because 'they've supported them since the 80's' None of them with any links to Liverpool. ****s.
angelman Posted 24 August, 2015 Posted 24 August, 2015 Liverpool look good. Clyne everything you would want in a full back: solid 1v1 and can make good runs forward. Give it a rest.
Batman Posted 24 August, 2015 Posted 24 August, 2015 Cech proving his worth this game Also, is that Liverpool LB English? If so, just by playing for Liverpool for a few games, what are the odds Roy will call him up at the weekend for the next squad
Give it to Ron Posted 24 August, 2015 Posted 24 August, 2015 Liverpool look good. Clyne everything you would want in a full back: solid 1v1 and can make good runs forward. Sanchez has gone by him every time unsurprisingly all Arsenal good stuff is in behind him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Saint Charlie Posted 24 August, 2015 Posted 24 August, 2015 Give it a rest. Give what a rest? Noticing Clyne having a good game? It wasn't going to be all our ex players that failed after leaving! At £12m one of the best signings of the summer IMO. Liverpool look solid, well balanced and quality going forward with quick, inventive passing.
Saint-Fred Posted 24 August, 2015 Posted 24 August, 2015 BBC a bit confused, but given the transfers between the two it's understandable I suppose? Analysis Arsenal v Southampton (20:00 BST) Posted at 19:34 What worries me about Arsenal is Francis Coquelin. What a gamble to put all that pressure on that young man's shoulders as he now the main defensive-minded midfielder at the club. Daily Mirror journalist John Cross on BBC Radio 5 live
Lighthouse Posted 24 August, 2015 Author Posted 24 August, 2015 They haven't looked quality going forward. The point of going forward is to score. In 3 games they've scored twice, and tonight against a very poor makeshift defence they haven't scored. Cech from Coutinho was a great save, but Benteke missed a sitter and for all their possession around the box, Liverpool haven't created enough clearcut chances. Once really, plus a gift from a blind lino in front of the cop.
