S4INT Posted 21 August, 2015 Share Posted 21 August, 2015 Sorry to post on the main forum but I'm really struggling to find any concrete information despite hours of trawling online. I'm a Saints fan based in London and am travelling with a friend to the away leg against Midtjylland on Thursday night. However my friend needs to be back in London for a 10am train (I need to be back for a 4pm flight at the latest anyway). Does anyone know a way back from the stadium that would get us back in time to London? Whether it be by train, coach, hire-car, hitching a lift, going via Manchester...whatever. The only early enough flights from Copenhagen would involve catching a train from Herning at 11:21ish which is cutting things too fine on the night if it's an 8:45pm start. And I can't see any alternative to the train. I'd be eternally grateful for any suggestions and would obviously be more than happy to pay for petrol money if anyone is driving any parts of the route. S4INT Posted 21 August, 2015 Author Share Posted 21 August, 2015 Best I can think of so far is: Fly Norwegian Air, London Gatwick -> Aalborg - arriving at 14:55. £40 each. Hire car, drive to Midtjylland - 2ish hours. Drive to Coephagen at 3am - 3.5ish hours. Total cost with Sixt £33 each + petrol. Fly Ryanair, Copehagen -> London Luton - flight leaves at 7:25, back at 8:15am. £100 each (bastards). ...0.o
