Master Bates Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 So, who's been silly/desperate enough to spend £185 on a ticket for tomorrow?
Andy_Porter Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 I feel like a mug spending £30. £185 is ridiculous.
Scummer Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 The closer we get to the game, the more happy I am that I decided not to bother getting a ticket.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 £185!! WTF. No idiot would pay that............surely? Mine are now for sale - £180 each (grab yourself a bargain NOW)
WealdSaint Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 god for that much you could buy some shares ;-)
um pahars Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 god for that much you could buy some shares ;-) If you took on the debt, you could probably buy the Club for that!!!!!!!
70's Mike Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 If you took on the debt, you could probably buy the Club for that!!!!!!! nah rupert would not sell
WealdSaint Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 nah rupert would not sell the club or some over priced tickets ;-)
Professor Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 £30 to see your club play the World Champions. Incredible good value. I don't expect Saints to win, but if they did and I hadn't been there, I'd never forgive myself. Stranger things have happened in the FA Cup - Havant They?
lordswoodsaints Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 if i could get that for mine i would sell them.ive got 4.

I don't expect Saints to win, but if they did and I hadn't been there, I'd never forgive myself. Stranger things have happened in the FA Cup - Havant They? Do you think we'll be playing the World Champions or a reserve side?

I don't expect Saints to win, but if they did and I hadn't been there, I'd never forgive myself. Stranger things have happened in the FA Cup - Havant They? £30 is a **** take, it really isn't good value for any game let alone a cup game. Saying that most the **** hole London clubs have been charging us 30 quid this season.
derry Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 If any MU fan makes the mistake of sitting near me, I will make sure they are kicked out.
Weston Saint Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 If any MU fan makes the mistake of sitting near me, I will make sure they are kicked out. Bugger
70's Mike Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 If any MU fan makes the mistake of sitting near me, I will make sure they are kicked out. echo that comment, i still have my pride even if the club has none
Andy_Porter Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 If any MU fan makes the mistake of sitting near me, I will make sure they are kicked out. Indeed, my biggest worry is i'll be surrounded by them.
Huffton Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 Didn't pay £30, and quite happy to about it. Getting totally embarrased on live tv (again) surrounded by plastic manc supporting retards who have never been to a game before and don't understand the rules, what a great afternoon out, and having to pay through the nose for the priveliege. I'm afraid Rupert and co have had just about all the money they are getting out of me this season, and probably will be the same for the foreseeable future, at least until Lowe and the lapdog have gone.
eelpie Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 I spent £25 (senior) for two matches Notts Forest and Man United. (So I missed the Forest match through illness, but the deal was there for everyone. The early bird catches, and all that...)
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 Indeed, my biggest worry is i'll be surrounded by them. I think you may well be right...
Weston Super Saint Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 £30 is reasonable these days. Not for our shower of shiiiit it isn't

LGTL Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 Do you think we'll be playing the World Champions or a reserve side? World champions, actually. As much as it makes me want to cry, I fully expect Rooney, Berbatov and Ronaldo to all start tomorrow from how Ferguson was talking.

Toomer Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 If any MU fan makes the mistake of sitting near me, I will make sure they are kicked out. Will keep the OB and Stewards on their toes if there any sat near us.
SET Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 I'm a united fan and will be sat in the home stands, like i have done on many occasions over the last 3 years. I've prob seen more Saints matches this year than a lot of lifelong saints fans. Looking forward to the game and i truley believe that anything can happen in the FA Cup. Stranger things have happend than saints beating united tomorrow
mattbrennan Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 If you sit in the home end at St Mary's on regular occasions are you not a Saints fan? I mean what kind of neutral would come watch us?!
Mole Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 So, who's been silly/desperate enough to spend £185 on a ticket for tomorrow? You see over there.... Thats Albion Towers - part of my affordable homes empire. £185 for a years rent and i'll even throw in a pair of tickets for Man Utd.

Strange how you stopped going because we couldn't win at home and then Utd roll into town and you're straight back.

Not sure many spotted it though.

Um Bongo Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 Don't see what the problem is, everyone who wanted/needed a ticket got one? Hence why Season ticket holders could buy as many as they wanted.
Deano6 Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 I have a spare ticket going. Face value of £30. Unfortuately I don't have PMs so you're gonna have to be creative if you're interested.
chi saint Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 If any MU fan makes the mistake of sitting near me, I will make sure they are kicked out. Be warned if u do try it on you'll suffer...nuff said!
rocknrollman no2 Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 Be warned if u do try it on you'll suffer...nuff said! Yes, must not let them nasty Manure fans know that you support your local team. Good on you Derry. If i was going and some **** supporting Manure fan jumped up when they scored, they would get at the very least a verbal going over.Any Manure fan sat in the home end(who doesnt just sit there quietly),deserves everything they get.
Simon_UK Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 anyone stupid enough to pay £108 or £139.50 for a game that won't sell out and tickets available right up till kick off at face value? http://www.worldticketshop.com/tickets/southampton_tickets/31665_southampton-swansea
trousers Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 I don't expect Saints to win Then why predict a 2-1 win for Saints in the score prediction thread?

If any Man U fan makes the mistake of sitting near me, I will make sure they are kicked in the head. And I will happily take the 3 year ban..... good excuse not to go any more I think.

SET Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 well i'm hardly going to jump around like a ****, but all those that sit around our seats no i'm a united fan anyway.
saint.tom.clancy Posted 3 January, 2009 Posted 3 January, 2009 I will also be giving the united "fans" a kick in should any be fortuante enough to be sat near me.
The Banana Factor Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 Why you pretending you are gonna give them a kicking! Any proper saints fan would have got a ticket easy if they had two brain cells to rub together and filling the remaining seats means more money for the club and less chance of administration. Would have happily seen the ground filled with 32000 man u fans paying £100 a ticket if we could have done!
chi saint Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 Well all u ard uns, all mouth no trousers!! My 22 yr old went with his younger brothers, leaping up every time Man U scored as did loads of others around him. Not a squeak from those that were "gonna do em" ala Romsey Saint, Derry etc I agreed with him that these computer warriors are just that!

Rebel Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 well there were no Man U fans sat near me in the Chapel today (although there was a Pompey fans sat beside me with his Saints supporting son - he takes after his mum's side of the family apparently!) no problem with away fans watching the game in the home end (I've taken Man Utd, Liverpool, Plymouth and Reading fans to see their teams as St Mary's in the past) but if they are going to jump up and down when they score they are asking for trouble I remember seeing Chelsea and West Ham fans get clobbered at the Dell when sitting in the home end and celebrating a goal although when I took my Pompey brother-in-law to the Dell to see Saints beat them in the cup me and my mates had to jump on him when we scored to make it look like he was celebrating as some of the people around us picked up on the fact he was a Skate after he failed to 'celebrate' saints first goal and were less than happy about it our cunning plan didn't work and we had a few words with fellow Saints fans at the end of the game - luckily as there were 5 or 6 of us it didn't come to fisticuffs - but only just!
