Saint_clark Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Nothings falling our way at all now, every throw, corner, deflection is going against us.
JakkoUK Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Just going to be one of those days, onto the next one.
Sheaf Saint Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Nothings falling our way at all now, every throw, corner, deflection is going against us. Yeah I was just thinking that. All the randomness is going in Everton's favour.
Saint Without a Halo Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Yeah I was just thinking that. All the randomness is going in Everton's favour. The harder you try the luckier you get!
Edmonton Saint Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Ironic thing is, we have actually created a lot of chances today, Just had some real ****-poor attempts on goal.
Crab Lungs Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Is it me, but does anyone else think that our centre-halves are also doing the fullbacks defensive work as well?
trousers Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Can anybody explain to me why Everton need to be wearing their away kit today? 90 minute advert on national TV to boost shirt sales?
Edmonton Saint Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 And thats how you take a chance. Stekelenburg still yet to make a save this match.
GarrettIvo Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 And thats how you take a chance. Stekelenburg still yet to make a save this match. Made a good save from Barkley in the 1st half.
Saint Without a Halo Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 A lesson in commitment physical strength and good finishing
broken spoke Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 this is the wakeup call we needed.... the balance is wrong
Diabolus Ex Machina Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 And thats how you take a chance. Stekelenburg still yet to make a save this match. Saved one from Barkley first half before Cleverly fluffed it didn't he?
SaintLiam Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 And thats how you take a chance. Stekelenburg still yet to make a save this match. saved one when Barkely was put through as no one marked him whatsoever
alpine_saint Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 There it is. A worse defeat at home than we managed all last season. I seriously f**king hope alarm bells are ringing at SMS. We've been freewheeling through the summer.
supersonic Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Seems as if we've paid £5m for the Portugese Jermaine Wright.
Jonnyboy Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Hmmm... conceded 33 last season, 5 already this year...
aintforever Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Yoshida and Targett are just not good enough. Need to spend some more of our cash.
UpweySaint Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 this is the wakeup call we needed.... the balance is wrong Hope so. Love Roko but, poor as players have been, he got it very wrong today.
BotleySaint Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Roll on next game. Substandard defending after losing 3 top defensive players and not replacing with similar quality.
adrian lord Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Ron's "difficult second season" seems to be beckoning.
Saint_clark Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Romeu and Pelle the positives today, everyone else was awful.
Crab Lungs Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Balls out for Dragovic and Gonalons and we'll be ok. We'll get van Dijk and Romeu instead by the looks of things. Not that that is terrible, just not the same standard. Hopefully when Clasie gets back he'll have found a bit of rythym 'cos he looked like a very bad Lee Cattermole against Vitesse.
Sheaf Saint Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Wanyama having another one of his 'can't be ar$ed' days today then. We always seem to lose when he does that.
alpine_saint Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Has Fonte been distracted by the Villa talk ? Jesus, doesnt take much.......
GarrettIvo Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Worst team ever this. I mean after two games last season we already had.... 1 point!
BotleySaint Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Has Fonte been distracted by the Villa talk ? Jesus, doesnt take much....... Well, he might be left a bit unsettled by us losing Morgan and Clyne and not replacing sufficiently?
Jonnyboy Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Romeu and Pelle the positives today, everyone else was awful. Pelle?
Edmonton Saint Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Saved one from Barkley first half before Cleverly fluffed it didn't he? Yeah I had forgotten that. My point was, Everton seem to be far more clinical than us. We've actually had some good chances, missed god knows how many free headers in our around the 6 yard box today.
Red Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 And thats how you take a chance. Stekelenburg still yet to make a save this match. you must be watching a different game to me then!
Crab Lungs Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 This is a lesson that proves we can't keep replacing our best players every season. Either we we go balls out, or we gamble and become a Norwich, WBA etc.
saintsmike25 Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Just a bad bad performance - much soul searching to be done in all aspects. No good performers and a real shame for all the fans.
trousers Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Same number of points at this stage last season. #meltdown
Killers Knee Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Midfield is non-existant, defence is too weak, strikers can't shoot. New signings this year dont look premiership quality.
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Ron's "difficult second season" seems to be beckoning. When he joined a Dutch friend said to me, 'He'll have a great first season and then you'll really struggle in the second. He'll walk away about two thirds of the way through the second season'.
Saint Without a Halo Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 This is a lesson that proves we can't keep replacing our best players every season. Either we we go balls out, or we gamble and become a Norwich, WBA etc. Errr Even Norwich and WBA look better set up defensively than us so far!
alpine_saint Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 This is a lesson that proves we can't keep replacing our best players every season. Either we we go balls out, or we gamble and become a Norwich, WBA etc. Like I said, we got lucky last summer. If we have a bad season, imagine what will happen next autumn when weve lost Mane, J-Rod and Wanyama
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Same number of points at this stage last season. #meltdown Depends which way you look at it. If you look at the same two fixture's from last season then we're already 5 points down!
Joneth Posted 15 August, 2015 Posted 15 August, 2015 Worst performance since....trying to remember when.
