Yes, but better to get well away from city-light.

Watched for about 20 minutes or so and saw one really good meteor, and one satellite.

 

Not bad considering there's a fair bit of hazy cloud about and a fair bit of light pollution

I'm currently in deepest, darkest France and we were sat out, under the Milky Way, watching shooting star after shooting star. T'was rather fantastic.
