igsey Posted 10 August, 2015 Author Posted 10 August, 2015 No Seager. Any reasons why? Not sure, no Gallagher either. Might just be training full time with the first team?
S-Clarke Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 Not sure, no Gallagher either. Might just be training full time with the first team? Gallagher is at MK Dons.
igsey Posted 10 August, 2015 Author Posted 10 August, 2015 Gallagher is at MK Dons. ...oh yeah. That would explain why he's not playing!
igsey Posted 10 August, 2015 Author Posted 10 August, 2015 No Seager. Any reasons why? Injured, commentator just said.
Tom Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 Reed outshining Clasie at the moment..... Clasie's body language is interesting; doesn't seem like he wants to be there
Batman Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 (edited) clasie looks very MEH to me so far reed a lot better Hesketh and Reed best players Edited 10 August, 2015 by Batman
Give it to Ron Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 Strange commentators reckon he looks good Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
doddisalegend Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 Funny I thought Jordy looks comfortable, good feet, some nice passes and good at dropping in to cover the CB when they go forward albeit in an under 21 match. Can't help feeling people are just going to hate Jordy for not being Morgan.

doddisalegend Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 Reed outshining Clasie at the moment..... Clasie's body language is interesting; doesn't seem like he wants to be there What are you expecting? He is playing for fitness you can hardly expect him to be charging around the pitch throwing himself in to challenges and running himself into the ground.
Give it to Ron Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 Yep he has just run back 20 yards covering twice in 5 minutes. Some need to get over Morgan going Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
doddisalegend Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 Just dont think he has stood out what so ever Sign of a good DM isn't it quietly going about his job?
Tom Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 What are you expecting? He is playing for fitness you can hardly expect him to be charging around the pitch throwing himself in to challenges and running himself into the ground. I take it all back. Great ball for a Marcus Barnes goal!
Batman Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 clasie now looking good. lovely ball to set up the goal
VectisSaint Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 Funny I thought Jordy looks comfortable, good feet, some nice passes and good at dropping in to cover the CB when they go forward albeit in an under 21 match. Can't help feeling people are just going to hate Jordy for not being Morgan. At 30.00 he made an excellent interception and good work to clear, looked remarkably Morgan-like. After that he has made some excellent passes, and the pass that lead to Barnes' goal was well picked out and incisive. Its u-21 level but he does look "classy". However, he does not look fit, to be fair, really needs to work on that to get up to PL pace.
trousers Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 Decent performance from Clasie so far. Obviously not 100% match fit hence looking like he's coasting in 2nd or 3rd gear at times. Good DM partnership with Reed too.
The Cat Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 Been watching for 20 minutes. Saints bossing the game in contrast to the same fixture at St Mary's a few months ago when we were totally outplayed. Dom Gape at RB is interesting, although he might just be playing there because Claise is in his position. We are looking solid all over the pitch, they have barely had a sniff.
Matthew Le God Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 No Seager. Any reasons why? He was injured during the RB Leipzig game on 8th July.
Matthew Le God Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 Dom Gape at RB is interesting, although he might just be playing there because Claise is in his position. He is struggling to cope with their left winger as he doesn't have the pace to keep up.
doddisalegend Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 OK I think (hope) taking him off as a precaution
VectisSaint Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 Clasie injured Doesn't look too good, although he has limped off. Complete accident as well.
Lallana's Left Peg Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 What kind of injury did it look like? Man City player went down and collided into Clasie. Clasie was standing as the player rolled into him and it was his planted leg that got caught and his foot remained planted and his leg buckled a bit. It's a ligament type injury but could just have been a stretch / tweak. Alternatively it is the sort of injury like Lallana had in our first season back in the Premier League that had him out for weeks. Clasie is still on the bench so I would assume he is ok (I hope).
doddisalegend Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 What kind of injury did it look like? Rubbing his shin a lot Man city lad fell over and wiped out Jordy as he went down . Don't think it's his hamstring.
Give it to Ron Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 A painful one bloke fell on him and took him out - impact injury walked off limping. Has left a Clasie sized hole in midfield :-) Meh
Saint Charlie Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 Hopefully an impact knock rather than ligaments then!
Give it to Ron Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 Not that it matters but the 4th official George is a really good ref better than some I have seen in the league
disconnect Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 What the hell was Debayo doing for the equaliser?!
Saint Charlie Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 2-2 in the last minute. Dreadful defending of a cross and Gazza didn't command the area at all. Shame because would be good to beat City.
Give it to Ron Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 What the hell was Debayo doing for the equaliser?! Keepers ball
Lallana's Left Peg Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 What the hell was Debayo doing for the equaliser?! He probably (and quite fairly) expected his keeper to come and claim for a cross that was so high it touched the moon and landed 4 yards from goal.
Toomer Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 What the hell was Debayo doing for the equaliser?! Ball watching along with Gazza.
Saint Charlie Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 Woeful goalkeeping sadly Such a weak position from first team down to U18, bar the two number ones we have (one unavailable of course).
mcbendy Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 Agree. Never mind commanding his area, Gazza needs to learn how to command his 6 yard box!!!
Saint IQ Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 He is our second keeper too. Jesus. Only because Forsters injured
Saint Charlie Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 Only because Forsters injured If Forster was fit then Stekelenburg wouldn't be here. Gazza or KD (seemingly Gazza) is our no 2 in all reality.
sadoldgit Posted 10 August, 2015 Posted 10 August, 2015 Gazza looking poor still and was at fault for the second.
bpsaint Posted 11 August, 2015 Posted 11 August, 2015 That's not the first time Gazza has failed to come for a cross in his six yard box that had led to a goal and I'm sure it won't be the last. What concerns me is we are so poor from second choice keeper downwards, yet have the England national keeper coach as our coach too, surely he can see how lacking in the GK department we are?
Shance Posted 11 August, 2015 Posted 11 August, 2015 Funny I thought Jordy looks comfortable, good feet, some nice passes and good at dropping in to cover the CB when they go forward albeit in an under 21 match. Can't help feeling people are just going to hate Jordy for not being Morgan. Unfortunately it appears that this is going to be the case
Gulle Posted 11 August, 2015 Posted 11 August, 2015 Barnes seems really interesting, and it will be good for his confidence to bang in two against City. Him, Hesketh and Debayo are the runners up for MOTM in my opinion.
