Lighthouse Posted 5 August, 2015 Share Posted 5 August, 2015 I think it's great that people can drink an absolute skin-full and still have the presence of mind to inform the good people of Saints web. When I'm drunk I normally just buy a kebab and stand on street corners with my knob and b*llocks exposed to passing traffic. Sir, I salute your dedication! Haha! Getting drunk is a lot like going to the gym: if you don't tell anyone about it then does it really count?
Lighthouse Posted 5 August, 2015 Share Posted 5 August, 2015 Aarcher, if you're still reading this thread we need a couple of selfies with #yolo #ladsontour #Thedam15 My only real anecdote about Amsterdam is from when I lived there in 2008. I was 20 at the time and the company I worked for sent me and my mates of similar age on a training course. After a few pints we decided to go and check out the red light district, from a purely architectural point of view you understand. One of our group disappeared at this point, then reappeared 3 hours later at the train station. We were all four sheets to the wind by then so the rest of us didn't think much of it until the next day, when I saw this fellar walking out of the bathroom topless. He had marks around his wrists and on his back which suggested he had been handcuffed and whipped at some point. I never asked what exactly happened that night but I never looked at him in the same light again. If you visit the same 'mistress' my mate did, bare in mind you may have to explain any injuries to the missus. Apart from that, enjoy!

van Hanegem Posted 6 August, 2015 Share Posted 6 August, 2015 Amsterdam is fun. They have nice bars and lovely canals and you can have sex with the mums of the ajax players very cheap. They're sitting behind windows in red light so you can pick them out very easily...
RowanFR Posted 6 August, 2015 Share Posted 6 August, 2015 Does any of you Southampton fans know the duo I met yesterday in the bus on their way to the Utrecht stadium? One had a green away shirt with Rhino on it, the other a Southampton home kit. Great lads, was wondering if they managed to get into the stadium. Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd Posted 6 August, 2015 Share Posted 6 August, 2015 Great couple of days in Amsterdam. Bumped into a few Saints fans but not as many as I thought I would. The highlight was seeing the Rapid Vienna fans getting a police escort through the centre of town on Tuesday evening. Great atmosphere. Amazing support. A real example of how to make your make your presence felt when you're playing away in Europe.
