Paul Chuckle Posted 5 August, 2015 Posted 5 August, 2015 I'm going corporate for the first time at St Marys for the Norwich game. Dad's 60th birthday present and as he can't go alone I've been brought a ticket as well. Was wondering from those who have been before whats it like? Thanks
minime Posted 5 August, 2015 Posted 5 August, 2015 its a good...good seats...good food...for me an all round pleasant experience
Weston Saint Posted 5 August, 2015 Posted 5 August, 2015 You get there for 2hours 30mins before kick off. You will be shown to your table which has red and white wine and bottled beer. You can order draught beer, lager or soft drinks from the waitresses as part of the package but if you want spirits you have to pay. You help yourself to the buffet (although staff available to serve you ate the food station). Good selection of starters (you can have a bit of each) Decent main with meat or fish choice with good selection of vegetables and potato. At least 2 dessert selection and coffee/tea Just before you go out for the first half waitress will ask what drink you wish at half time. Seating is in the corporate area of the Itchen. Comfortable seats and good view. During half time you will be asked what drink you wish for after match. You leave by 6pm Ex Saints have been given 5 complimentary for the Presidential Suite of which 2 are the business organisers for Ex Saints plus 3 ex players who are interviewed before the game and open for you to speak to them. Tell the girls when you check in that your Dad is celebrating his birthday and they will announce it for you in the suite before the game. There are televisions showing whatever game sky or bt are showing that early afternoon. Complimentary programme and team sheet also available. I went there 6 times last season as a guest of a friend and I am sure you both will enjoy. My brother was happy too as I let him use my season ticket for free on those occasions
supersonic Posted 5 August, 2015 Posted 5 August, 2015 On the subject of hospitality, has anyone used the "Saints Bar" hospitality package? is this not a re-named "Dell Bar"?

My mates are happy as well as they get to have our season tickets for the game as well. What ex players were present when you have been? Are all drinks brought to you at your table and is there a long wait? Sounds like it should be a good day for us both. Something i have always wanted to do at SMS and never had the chance before
Wiggles31 Posted 5 August, 2015 Posted 5 August, 2015 It's my dad's 60th in February and was planning the same for West Ham at home. How much are tickets for season ticket holders?
Paul Chuckle Posted 5 August, 2015 Author Posted 5 August, 2015 It's my dad's 60th in February and was planning the same for West Ham at home. How much are tickets for season ticket holders? It depends on the game but i think you can put a match ticket against the price of it? I think for Norwich it was about £170.00.......
sotonist Posted 5 August, 2015 Posted 5 August, 2015 You help yourself to the buffet (although staff available to serve you ate the food station). no wonder you have to help yourself.
sotonjoe Posted 5 August, 2015 Posted 5 August, 2015 I suspect it's full of oiks chomping on mass produced food, trying to down as much free lager as possible, and telling each other how posh the experience is.
