SO16_Saint Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 He said in the interview earlier that Koeman wants him to play the same way that he was playing for Swansea and Spurs and that he's been 'forced' to play different tactics the last two season and as such it'll take him a few games to get back in the swing of playing 'properly'. I can't remember if Toby hit the ground running or whether he grew into the role. So is he seen as a football playing centre back? Can't really say I've noticed him tbh
igsey Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 So, are we going to be seeded tomorrow, and when is the draw? Have a look at this, explains it fairly concisely. Basically we need four teams to lose to lower-ranking opposition in this round.
SuperMikey Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 we have been largely crap so far.....bar the goal I wonder when we'll see our first "Pelle is shyt" of the season...
Saint-Armstrong Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Blimey, somebody just bollocked Sadio by the sounds of things. Anyone else catch someone shouting from the bench?!
hutch Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 So, are we going to be seeded tomorrow, and when is the draw? Unlikely
SO16_Saint Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 I wonder when we'll see our first "Pelle is shyt" of the season... Think i may have had that versus feynoord
Saints foreva Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 JWP struggling to get involved again. No surprise there.
Saint-Armstrong Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 You can hear all the shouts from the Saints bench. Someone should move the mic with Sammy Lee around.
Saint Charlie Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 We are just coasting it to be fair. No real intensity but no need ahead of Newcastle.
Batman Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 (edited) davis been our best player so far IMO Kevin Davies sums it up - All about getting through this game unscathed for the Newcastle fixture Edited 6 August, 2015 by Batman
mcjwills Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Commentators are bloody useless should have left it with sky
Saint-Armstrong Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Commentators are bloody useless should have left it with sky Yeah, should've left it with Niall Quinn and co. No thanks!
MikeSFC Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Commentators are bloody useless should have left it with sky Who are the commentators?
trousers Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Who are the commentators? Maris Piper and King Edward
hutch Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Commentators are bloody useless should have left it with sky Got to agree. According to Davies Fonte had a lot of chances to leave Saints during the relegation years.
Toadhall Saint Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 we have been largely crap so far.....bar the goal Sign of a good team?
Toadhall Saint Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Maris Piper and King Edward Nowt common about a king
Batman Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Sign of a good team? would say so. We all know we are miles better than this
warsash saint Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 we have been largely crap so far.....bar the goal you'd rather we go all out guns blazing risking injuries etc ?!! We are 4 nil up & a game on Sunday..... We don't need to bother
Diabolus Ex Machina Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Normally expect him to score those. See West Ham are drawing now too.
mulletsaint Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Don't like Davis as a sitting mid. Would rather have added in there.
Batman Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Martina is alright to be fair. caulker fine after first 10 mins. what the hell was yoshida turning his player like that in the box...ffs
John Boy Saint Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Excuse my ignorance but have they done away with the goal line officials or is Europa not worthy enough?
Batman Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 West Ham are now losing 2-1 to Astra. is that good for us if west ham go out?
SO16_Saint Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 is that good for us if west ham go out? Dunno but it's funny as ****
BotleySaint Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Wet Spam 2-1 down! Wow. They have put out a seriously under strength team. It's a weird one.
Batman Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 would not think JWP and Tadic were even on the pitch
Jimmy_D Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 It's possible West Ham could be seeded ahead of us, so yes, it's good for us if they go out.
Convict Colony Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 would not think JWP and Tadic were even on the pitch yeah i thought the same
hutch Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 We aren't going to be seeded anyway, so West Ham going out will affect the English coefficient
mulletsaint Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Can't remember having seen Tadic ever win a challenge.
