You would think with just over week to go they would be playing someone a bit more challenging (no disrespect intended) than York City, ok we played a pub team between Groningen and Feynoord and despite playing Vitesse we still have Espanyol to come who aren't too shabby an outfit.

I was there - on holiday in Scarborough. First 10 minutes they looked like they would take York apart. But they tend to over elaborate and over pass the ball, not unlike Saints. Mitrovic looked decent but never had any service. First goal was a real cock up that knocked the stuffing out of them. Second goal was a wonder strike. At 2-0 they lost their shape for a long period and even when they got a goal back never really looked like equalising. It was a surprisingly entertaining game. Didn't see anything there to worry me, but there were a lot of first choice players missing.

As it's a week til they start (and we'll pick the kids v Espanyol) I'd expect their big build up friendly to be this weekend. Who are they playing?
