GarrettIvo Posted 28 July, 2015 Share Posted 28 July, 2015 Sorry all but I can't find the old kit thread, and I don't have the energy to keep looking. Question on the sizing of the new kit for those who have got one of the home shirts. Last year's were a bit different obviously, but as I've mostly always been a 2XL am I safe in sticking to that? Planning to order one of the away kit and maybe a couple training shirts as well. Yes abuse me if you must but I'd be happy to get at least one constructive answer as well. oldsarum Posted 28 July, 2015 Share Posted 28 July, 2015 Sizes of shirts are as you'd expect at most shops, my sons shirt large is great fit and isn't too long which was the case for many last year
InvictaSaint Posted 28 July, 2015 Share Posted 28 July, 2015 The club have said that this Adidas kit is similar in sizing terms to the one we had season before last, and that it is a standard fit. If you have always been a 2XL you should be OK sticking with that size. Hope that helps.
marc_saint Posted 28 July, 2015 Share Posted 28 July, 2015 Last season I had to get a XXXXL. This season a XXL is fine.

ChudSaint Posted 28 July, 2015 Share Posted 28 July, 2015 Anyone know who the junior kits come up? (Not mini kit, the youth ones) Got my 8 year old wearing wearing 11-12 years and my 4 year old wearing 7-8 years! Both a little large now but wouldn't of lasted the season if I'd gone any smaller! This year's home shirt is the same as the last adidas home shirt, which I can confirm as I'm in the same size as the horrible adidas red thing from 2013/14, and from all indications, the green away shirt is the same sizing as both of those (the black adidas away shirt 2 years ago was Formotion and skintight but this one isn't). I will know tonight, as the wife is headed for the ground RIGHT NOW.
diggers Posted 28 July, 2015 Share Posted 28 July, 2015 Just picked up an away at JD sport in gatwick south. £42.00 relative bargain!

My 8yo is short so hopefully fit him in the 9-10 and so is my 5yo so again.
ChudSaint Posted 28 July, 2015 Share Posted 28 July, 2015 My 8 year old not biggest, could of probably got away with a smaller size, shorts are a bit loose and need tying tight.. Ordered over net as based in Devon so no chance to try before you buy, we kept what we got as better a little too big than too small...
Marie Posted 28 July, 2015 Share Posted 28 July, 2015 Got my 8 year old wearing wearing 11-12 years and my 4 year old wearing 7-8 years! Both a little large now but wouldn't of lasted the season if I'd gone any smaller! I have purchased home kits for my two boys and had to buy a 13-14 for my 10 year old and a 7-8 for my nearly 5 year old so be warned they do come out really small in kids kits but they look great?
