Saint Garrett Posted 1 September, 2016 Posted 1 September, 2016 Lol brilliant fun, and all goes to charity, win win.
Jimmy_D Posted 1 September, 2016 Posted 1 September, 2016 Somehow it's better than it has any right to be
The9 Posted 1 September, 2016 Posted 1 September, 2016 Lets hope "Liebherr takes us higher" is more enduring than the previous version...
yellow&blue Posted 1 September, 2016 Posted 1 September, 2016 Love it! One criticism, was that Ian Branfoot at 2:15?
ericb Posted 1 September, 2016 Posted 1 September, 2016 I have a few small criticisms number one the song number two the people singing it number three the video If you got rid of all those it'd be great though
Saint Garrett Posted 1 September, 2016 Posted 1 September, 2016 I have a few small criticisms number one the song number two the people singing it number three the video If you got rid of all those it'd be great though Oh cheer up!!! It's for charity. just a bit of fun.
Mattio Posted 1 September, 2016 Posted 1 September, 2016 haha brilliant - why were all the random celebs at SMS?
nta786 Posted 1 September, 2016 Posted 1 September, 2016 Cringey, but anything for charity is always a great cause!
The9 Posted 1 September, 2016 Posted 1 September, 2016 Love it! One criticism, was that Ian Branfoot at 2:15? Immedately before Nick Illingsworth, yes.
explorer saint Posted 1 September, 2016 Posted 1 September, 2016 Love it! One criticism, was that Ian Branfoot at 2:15? Think that might of been hughie fisher
The9 Posted 1 September, 2016 Posted 1 September, 2016 Think that might of been hughie fisher No, it's definitely Branfoot immediately before they're dancing on the level crossing.
explorer saint Posted 1 September, 2016 Posted 1 September, 2016 Branfoot really ! Not watched back fair play
The9 Posted 1 September, 2016 Posted 1 September, 2016 Brilliant tbh, all in good fun I'm sure we'll have some helmet on here being embarrassed or saying cringe in a minute though.
Patrick Bateman Posted 1 September, 2016 Posted 1 September, 2016 It amused me, but it really does need the video to go with it though. Also being a Hythe & Waterside lad, it probably floated my boat (excuse the pun) more than it should
Shance Posted 1 September, 2016 Posted 1 September, 2016 got to be honest i really do miss the derby games, the buzz for the games against those c*nts is like nothing else, really hope we get them at their dive in a cup this year. Absolutely this. I've only missed one derby in my lifetime (and that's only because I was in a massive pile up on the m27 on my way to the game) and there's nothing like them!!
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 2 September, 2016 Posted 2 September, 2016 Think it was filmed at the recent Saints Disabled Day event at SMS, hence the celebs. Fair play to Branfoot and fair play to these lads too. Getting of their arses, raising funds for charity and raising the profile of the club and city. What is there to be churlish about!
Pilchards Posted 2 September, 2016 Posted 2 September, 2016 It amused me, but it really does need the video to go with it though. Also being a Hythe & Waterside lad, it probably floated my boat (excuse the pun) more than it should All those memories come floating back for me too.
disconnect Posted 2 September, 2016 Posted 2 September, 2016 Love the new version. Gutted they didnt get 'Pierre Emile Hojbjerg in midfield' into a line though.
yellow&blue Posted 2 September, 2016 Posted 2 September, 2016 Fair play to Branfoot Yes time's a great healer.......
Maggie May Posted 2 September, 2016 Posted 2 September, 2016 I'm all for a bit of light-hearted fun but Saints are not even in Europe yet. Getting to the qualifying rounds doesn't count and this will look rather silly if Vitesse progress. VOICE OF REASON AGAIN.
saintoaks Posted 2 September, 2016 Posted 2 September, 2016 Yes time's a great healer....... I remember holding the "Branfoot Out" sign up in the family centre all those years ago, someone chucked it up from the Milton, next day front page of the echo
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 2 September, 2016 Posted 2 September, 2016 I wrote a letter to Branfoot after he derided the car park protest as "just a bunch of kids" and got a shock a few days later when he rung me up and invited me down for a beer and a chat. Crap manager but good PR skills in evidence
Colinjb Posted 2 September, 2016 Posted 2 September, 2016 (edited) VOICE OF REASON AGAIN. We beat Vitesse. The qualifying rounds are part of the competition, it was a short campaign, but a campaign all the same. So, what 'reason' are you on about? As for the song, it's a laugh! And as previously stated, far better then it really should be! Like our team last year, better then the sum of it's parts. Edited 2 September, 2016 by Colinjb
SuperSAINT Posted 2 September, 2016 Posted 2 September, 2016 This one was good at the time. I remember that one! There should be more like that!
diggers Posted 2 September, 2016 Posted 2 September, 2016 Ahh...Now that brings back some memories! a particularly boozy night in a Budapest gentlemen club, this playing with several undressed female Russian 'Entertainers" intimately "dancing"....If Carlsberg did nights out ;-)
Ohio Saint Posted 2 September, 2016 Posted 2 September, 2016 I thought last years was fairly cack. I really quite enjoyed this one! ..........obviously I am way too easily impressed by them gaining access to the ground and some Saints celebs.......shame on me!
kitch Posted 5 September, 2016 Posted 5 September, 2016 I used to work with Mark (retro home shirt) at Halfords in Eastleigh years ago. Went to the same school as him, lived up the road etc. I can tell you he is EXACTLY like that in real life!
