Closed doors friendly against Brighton today.....

Where did you hear that from? I think the club would've mentioned something if it were true.

The very nature of the thing means they don't want fans there, that would be a very good way of ensuring they would have to deal with that problem.

Mystery trialist maybe.

I suspect we are way down the line for trialists that require friendly matches.

probably to work more on those who had their first outing the other day in the Audi cup. some of their play was terrible.

Used to love those reports in the old days about the trialists. Also the feedback we used to get from the training sessions. Remember Minty getting some grief from the club about giving away details of a set piece corner kick. Happy days!

As its reported to be "behind closed doors", it doesn't really matter if its in Brighton as you won't be able to go.

How do you know he hasn't got a levitating lift like in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?

I know he can be a pedantic dullard but the way MLG is bullied on here is pathetic. No offence MLG.

I don't mind all the stats stuff, we know he will be there to correct every detail. It's the persistent response every time someone posts when he questions it, without actually offering his own opinion.

......so my sources tell me - anyone know anything?

Where did you hear that from?

Can't reveal my sources (!) but no reason to doubt the info - would be a fairly random thing to make up imo.

Was your source this thread on the Brighton forum that was posted 14 minutes before you created your thread?

Or the article in the Brighton paper it is based on and published at 5am this morning...?

Hughton will use his full squad in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Southampton today.
