Lallana's Left Peg Posted 10 July, 2015 Posted 10 July, 2015 Monchi also spoke about Grzegorz Krychowiak's situation. "I think the president and our vice-president have been crystal clear that the players who we consider important, which is the case of Krychowiak, are not going to leave unless their buy-out clause is paid. "Those clubs that are interested in the player don't have to call Sevilla, they just need to pay the buy-out clause directly." I heard a bit about how this works when Man Utd purchased Anders Herrera - apparently he had to buy out his clause and Man Utd gave him the money to do that. Something crazy like that. Could be BS. Imagine having £30m dropped into your account

davefizzy14 Posted 15 July, 2015 Posted 15 July, 2015 Could he be the right sided centre midfielder that Guan was referring to?
SuperSAINT Posted 15 July, 2015 Posted 15 July, 2015 Could he be the right sided centre midfielder that Guan was referring to? Possible, but doubtful.
Shandy_Top_89 Posted 15 July, 2015 Posted 15 July, 2015 Whilst still unlikely, his release clause matches the alleged bid size for the unidentified 'right sided center mid'. At slightly over 20 mil, according to one of the ITKs (think it was someone on not606, not here).
Lorne Malvo Posted 16 July, 2015 Posted 16 July, 2015 I think the next 2 signings combined where two schlongs so wont be this guy for that price.
Pilchards Posted 11 August, 2015 Posted 11 August, 2015 The Super Cup tomight - Sevilla vs Barca. Could this be the game that Sevilla wanted Krychowiak to play in before moving on to Saints? He really does fit our bill plus we were going to offer 17m for Toby so why not 17m for this Polish international?
S-Clarke Posted 11 August, 2015 Posted 11 August, 2015 There really is no chance in this one, way too high profile - and expensive. He'd probably set us back £30m + including wages.
Window Cleaner Posted 11 August, 2015 Posted 11 August, 2015 Well having seen the dog's dinner that Coquelin made of it on Sunday you'd predict the Arse to be favourites for such a player.
S-Clarke Posted 11 August, 2015 Posted 11 August, 2015 Well having seen the dog's dinner that Coquelin made of it on Sunday you'd predict the Arse to be favourites for such a player. Wenger isn't going to go out and sign a CM, he's too stubborn to admit defeat.
Batman Posted 11 August, 2015 Posted 11 August, 2015 2-1 to barca, messi with 2 free kicks (sevilla's was one also)
pangy Posted 11 August, 2015 Posted 11 August, 2015 There really is no chance in this one, way too high profile - and expensive. He'd probably set us back £30m + including wages. Not to far off what Osvaldo cost us then
Lighthouse Posted 11 August, 2015 Posted 11 August, 2015 No chance. He'd double our record signing. I'd agree there is no chance, he isn't going to turn down Champs League football for Saints. He has a release fee of around £16m I thought, which is nowhere near double our record signing. Meeting that is the easy part.
doddisalegend Posted 11 August, 2015 Posted 11 August, 2015 So how has the Polish geezer played then? Quite frankly if he isn't destroying Barca and hasn't got Messi in his pocket he probably isn't good enough for us.
St.Patrik Posted 11 August, 2015 Posted 11 August, 2015 Well the game is awsome - Sevilla just made 4-4 and they where 4-1 down. 10mins to go
Kieran1uk Posted 11 August, 2015 Posted 11 August, 2015 I hear whispers that Les Reed is at the game..? Well...I see dead people.
VectisSaint Posted 11 August, 2015 Posted 11 August, 2015 So how has the Polish geezer played then? Quite frankly if he isn't destroying Barca and hasn't got Messi in his pocket he probably isn't good enough for us. He was booked after 14 minutes, otherwise no idea. Currently 5-4 to Barca. 1st goal Ever Banega, weren't we linked with him last year?
brett24 Posted 11 August, 2015 Posted 11 August, 2015 I hear whispers that Les Reed is at the game..? What whispers are they?
igsey Posted 11 August, 2015 Posted 11 August, 2015 What whispers are they? That... he was at the game.
SuperSAINT Posted 11 August, 2015 Posted 11 August, 2015 Telegraph Football @TeleFootball Arsenal weighing up £22 million bid for Sevilla midfielder Krychowiak #afc http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/arsenal/11797617/Arsenal-transfer-news-Arsene-Wenger-weighing-up-22million-bid-for-Sevilla-midfielder-Grzegorz-Krychowiak.html

John Boy Saint Posted 11 August, 2015 Posted 11 August, 2015 Wasn't the bloke who scored the Sevilla 4th goal Konoplyanka the nipper we had in our academy when we were last in the Prem but we just could not get a work permit for him despite all our efforts........... Had we been Man U it might have been a different kettle of fish.

Had we been Man U it might have been a different kettle of fish. That was Andrei Pereplyotkin
VectisSaint Posted 11 August, 2015 Posted 11 August, 2015 That was Andrei Pereplyotkin Despite the hype at the time it would seem in hindsight that we were wasting our time.
Danbert Posted 12 August, 2015 Posted 12 August, 2015 Where did you hear that? The voices in his head
CB Fry Posted 12 August, 2015 Posted 12 August, 2015 Wasn't the bloke who scored the Sevilla 4th goal Konoplyanka the nipper we had in our academy when we were last in the Prem but we just could not get a work permit for him despite all our efforts........... Had we been Man U it might have been a different kettle of fish. That was Andrei Pereplyotkin LOL. Currently tearing it up in the Latvian second tier.

The9 Posted 12 August, 2015 Posted 12 August, 2015 LOL. Currently tearing it up in the Latvian second tier. 44 goals in 144 games for Skonto Riga at his peak, plus a loan when he rarely played, which may have been in Derby's worst season ever.
