Matthew Le God Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 Its ironic that both goalkeepers have played well in these games. How is that ironic?
S-Clarke Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 There is simply no midfield out there. No room for error with the Morgan replacement.
Lorne Malvo Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 then again these guys start their season next week.
Totton Sotton Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 No existent midfield.. We attack with 5 forwards in a straight line [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
TwoPints Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 I don't understand why their scorer just hit it and didn't take two touches before leaving it too late to shoot! Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
Saint Charlie Posted 11 July, 2015 Author Posted 11 July, 2015 Yoshida and Gardos both having an Alan Bennett.
BotleySaint Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 Side is unbalanced. Typical pre-season type of game.
IOWSaintDaz Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 Shambles at the back..... I blame the lack of a player the same class as Toby
VectisSaint Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 Just got back in, relying on this site and Twitter to know what is going on, bunch of depressives on here, no-one has anything good to say. Its pre-season guys, first 45 minutes for most of the players. Twitter at least gives some balance. Still, suppose its good training for the match threads for away games for the coming season. Posts such as "FFS" or Bugger" really are about as useful as a chocolate teapot and people have the temerity to say the commentator is bad. LOL.
ScottishSaint79 Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 Hopefully Bertrand isn't out too long awful down the left in both games.
St.JonB Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 We are looking poor at the back; hard to see how Ron's going to find 5 from this 10. Hopefully we have someone lined up....
Lorne Malvo Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 so many players switch between all the Red Bull teams it seems!
Sour Mash Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 Two of our key areas missing players, centre mid and full back. Most of our squad have been back from holiday less than a week.
Batman Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 Two of our key areas missing players, centre mid and full back. Most of our squad have been back from holiday less than a week. Yeah, first outing for many of them.
BotleySaint Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 Most of our squad have been back from holiday less than a week. I think that's it .. we don't seem to have the same attitude as the other teams in this mini tournament. We are still in holiday mode.

And many posts were responses to in-game action, not analysis - Wanyama seemingly going down with a bad knock, for instance. Take a break, sunshine or learn the meaning of context or even watch the game. Edited 11 July, 2015 by shurlock

I'm sorry, I hadn't realised I was acting as your own personal commentator. I just thought I was reacting to what I was watching. Maybe if you'd taken the opportunity to watch the game you wouldn't have to complain about the standard of posts about it on a forum! Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
Saint-Armstrong Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 'It's gotta be goal number two...!' - He says, with us already two down.
Saint Trev Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 look like a bunch of keepers running around out there
Saint_Ash Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 Good stuff, Hopefully push the club in to buying a good cb
saint-ross Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 How is that ironic? LOL, the irony sheriff is in town again
IOWSaintDaz Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 I wouldn't want to be one of our players judging by the look on Ron's face on the bench he looks livid
S-Clarke Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 Just imagine this guy as commentator, with Owen as co-commentator. The TV station would have to invent an alternative ''mute'' commentary option.
eurosaint Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 May I be the first this season to utter the immortal words : Koeman out ! :)
Saint Charlie Posted 11 July, 2015 Author Posted 11 July, 2015 Gardos is dire on the ball and not much better off it today!
Lorne Malvo Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 J-Rod with a good chance, showing rustiness...good pace on him still though a good sign
shurlock Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 Jay playing down the middle, with Long switched to the wing.
TwoPints Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 Missed another chance there, Long should have put that away Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
Saint Charlie Posted 11 July, 2015 Author Posted 11 July, 2015 Nice from Tadic, he has shown some good touches.
ericofarabia Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 Shane Long trying to get longer and Longer!!! WTF
S-Clarke Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 I like Soares tbh, always offers himself in attack on an overlap and has a bit of grit about him too.
S-Clarke Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 Silky Gardos. Or lucky? Lucky, given that his ball composure is normally as good as an elephants.
whelk Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 He puts the emphasis on the wrong syllable (sillaaaaaabull
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 I like Soares tbh, always offers himself in attack on an overlap and has a bit of grit about him too. Me too. He just needs CMs who will cover him when he goes forward as Morgan and Victor do.
BotleySaint Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 He puts the emphasis on the wrong syllable (sillaaaaaabull The affects of too much free alcohol I imagine.
Saint-Armstrong Posted 11 July, 2015 Posted 11 July, 2015 'They haven't scored a goal, Southampton... losing their first game to... Werder Bremen'
