We have someone who lost 4-0 to Preston two months ago in our back 4 up against Negrado. I'm not too worried.

Not a bad half. Lacked a bit of creativity.

Defence did alright considering our line up.

Last bit of that half pretty disjointed with stoppages, injuries etc.

SaintsFC team against @RedBullSalzburg: Stekelenburg, Cédric, Gardos, Yoshida, Debayo, Gape, S. Davis ©, Tadić, Ramírez, Rodriguez, Long.

Thought we played quite well. Same old story though. Hit the frame

Martina looked suspect. Mane, vic and Juanmi quite good

Hate to say it, but I probably agree.

Thought some of our passing was quite good. Space between the midfield and the front three a bit of a concern. Back four OK on the fly, though strength at fullback is critical to how we play.

Gave him 45 minutes just in case, but its official... Gary Preston is the worst commentator I've ever heard...

No Schneiderlin.

Surprise Surprise

Why bother to take him

No way was he ever going to play in a match and risk a transfer threatening injury

Just put a "For Sale" notice up outside the players entrance and get on with it

Everyone who's shelled out hard earnt money on a ST can moan about it during the season

I'd love to see the stats for how often we shoot from further than 12yards out' date=' particularly our strikers. I'd wager than it's significantly lower than other teams.[/quote']

Stats show that the vast majority of goals, all goals, are scored within something like 6 yards of the goal. I know I'm being vague but I don't commit this stuff to memory. Point is, shooting from distance doesn't tend to produce anything like the number of goals that close range does.

I've mentioned this to a member of staff from another club, we was in the bottom five last season of clubs to shot from 12+ yards!
