Badger Posted 18 May, 2016 Posted 18 May, 2016 What about the away? Looks Arsenal to me..
The9 Posted 18 May, 2016 Author Posted 18 May, 2016 (edited) Managed to pick up both home and away kit shirts for 15 quid each this morning from online shop. Well chuffed. Did we have a 3rd kit this season, or was the green unusual enough that we didnt need it ? We haven't had a third shirt at any point wearing adidas (or the year we dipped out). The last 3rd kit was the yellow Umbro which had been the away in the Championship season, and that was so poorly planned by Cortese they sold them off cheap at the end of the previous season. To the shock of no-one even remotely familiar with English club kits, we then wore the all-white away kit ONCE in the League, and the yellow numerous times, including any time we played a team in the red and white stripes we were so sadly lacking. I did flag up pre-season that we could have drawn someone wearing red and green, like Maritimo, in the Europa League qualifiers. That would have been funny, but they didn't qualify. The9 Posted 18 May, 2016 Author Posted 18 May, 2016 Please please please I heard the away was "different" and the usual argument that it's not yellow and blue because it doesn't sell, when in the megastore the other day.
The9 Posted 18 May, 2016 Author Posted 18 May, 2016 Sorry I tried adding a photo and it would'nt let me Hi Keith. You'll need to post/upload the photo online and then reference the URL to post it on here. Maybe try an upload site like this: http://postimage.org/ Cheers The upload allows you to add stuff from your PC direct now, using "Insert Image" then "From Computer"... I did it for this: which was something I threw together end of last season after the leak but prior to the actual announcement. Basically this site hosts it for you.
californiasaint Posted 18 May, 2016 Posted 18 May, 2016 This + some additional design variant across the neck, I reckon.
keithmorg98 Posted 18 May, 2016 Posted 18 May, 2016 Right try this one, lets hope this works!! http://postimg.org/image/k1dtb01fl/
Badger Posted 18 May, 2016 Posted 18 May, 2016 Right try this one, lets hope this works!! http://postimg.org/image/k1dtb01fl/ Let's hope it doesn't ! Not mocking your technical skills, but the design is a no from me.
Pamplemousse Posted 18 May, 2016 Posted 18 May, 2016 The home is alright. The away, I'd hate it to be that colour. And far too much blue for my liking. I'm hoping for a return to a black away kit or a yellow one.
trousers Posted 18 May, 2016 Posted 18 May, 2016 Right try this one, lets hope this works!! http://postimg.org/image/k1dtb01fl/ Success!

Ah, cushty. I've learned something today (for a change!)
alehouseboys Posted 19 May, 2016 Posted 19 May, 2016 Success! I wouldn't think the home shirt is too far off, can't see UA going for anything but stripes for the initial shirt, but if the new rule is for a blank panel on the back of shirts then that must apply to aways aswell? Could be close with the sponsor too!
DrZuess1979 the 2nd Posted 19 May, 2016 Posted 19 May, 2016 Success! Not a fan of the wider stripes But atleast its not a stock design
Saint_clark Posted 19 May, 2016 Posted 19 May, 2016 If they're forcing blank backs to shirts then it really is time to ditch stripes. It just looks awful having one side stripes. Would work fine with the xerox design or an ajax style though. I keep saying this but it's the perfect time to switch to the sash permanently.
tunit Posted 19 May, 2016 Posted 19 May, 2016 I keep saying this but it's the perfect time to switch to the sash permanently. The sash was a really great kit for a one off season without a sponsor. But i think when you add a sponsor to it, it wouldn't look anywhere near as good.
Shance Posted 19 May, 2016 Posted 19 May, 2016 I don't know. There were a couple of nice sash kits this season. Didn't Palace have one?
Mowgli Posted 19 May, 2016 Posted 19 May, 2016 I don't know. There were a couple of nice sash kits this season. Didn't Palace have one? This years away kit looks OK

the_emu Posted 19 May, 2016 Posted 19 May, 2016 I keep saying this but it's the perfect time to switch to the sash permanently. Surely the whole back doesn't have to be blank, just the portion where the numbers are. European clubs with stripes have been successfully doing this for decades. If done right, I don't see what the issue is.
Jai27 Posted 20 May, 2016 Posted 20 May, 2016 São Paulo 2016 Home Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Love it. Clean, unique and modern without some **** collar. However, I think there's a zero chance that we'll be stepping away from the stripes again.
Viking Saint Posted 20 May, 2016 Posted 20 May, 2016 Success! I like the home kit...can you do the away kit with yellow??
Patrick Bateman Posted 20 May, 2016 Posted 20 May, 2016 Success! +Red back +Navy blue home shorts Job done.
Saint Charlie Posted 20 May, 2016 Posted 20 May, 2016 The Adidas designed Boro home shirt is absolute muck.

once_bitterne Posted 20 May, 2016 Posted 20 May, 2016 Thanks - What's with the weird white bit? The sash slipped.
Nolan Posted 20 May, 2016 Posted 20 May, 2016 So that white slippage is only at the front? Very strange design choice. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
scdean Posted 21 May, 2016 Posted 21 May, 2016 so if we DO have to switch to a solid colour back... what is everybody's preference? i cant decide, but leaning to red (COYR etc)
Saxon Posted 22 May, 2016 Posted 22 May, 2016 http://postimg.org/image/s35k52wxd/ That's really nice actually. I think majority red looks a lot better and is more us. And if we were to have a solid back, this works nicely. The way kit looks good as well, better in yellow than gold.
Goatboy Posted 22 May, 2016 Posted 22 May, 2016 Doesn't the away kit have to have a solid colour on the back?
bender Posted 23 May, 2016 Posted 23 May, 2016 Does anyone know when they will be unveiling the new shirt? I always hate the way we have to wait until the end of July to get our hands on it, especially as its in the summer you would get the more use of it.
bpsaint Posted 23 May, 2016 Posted 23 May, 2016 New Sunderland kit for next season, complete with striped back I'm happy to say http://www.footballkitnews.com/18368/new-sunderland-home-strip-201617-by-adidas-revealed/
doggface Posted 23 May, 2016 Posted 23 May, 2016 Compulsory plain backs have been moved back to 2017/18, some clubs had already made changes for this season and to far down the line to change. stuipid rule and looks ****

Ho hum. What could have been for last season.

S-Clarke Posted 23 May, 2016 Posted 23 May, 2016 Shirt is fine, nice really but it's pointless when you have a sponsor like that. Makes it look tacky in every possible sense. Ours will look great with Paddy Power.
JRM Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Now this is a great kit..... http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/scottish/ayr-united-kit-launch-criticised-after-club-release-images-of-topless-model-with-new-strip-painted-a7049646.html Hopefully Ralph copies this method for our kit launch
