mrfahaji Posted 19 June, 2016 Posted 19 June, 2016 If only.. http://www.designfootball.com/design-galleries/competitions/southampton-fc-under-armour-2016-17-kit/orig-southampton-2016-17-home-kit-concept-26450 Like the look of that one. Something to be said for a part-black logo against the red and white, just looks a bit sharper/smarter. One reason why I think the veho kits have looked decent. The9 says the kit earlier could be close, except for a white box for the sponsor. Can't help but feel that with a block of red across the shoulders, a block of white across the middles and a block of some sort on the back, there won't be much of the stripes on show, even if it is technically a striped kit!
Pamplemousse Posted 19 June, 2016 Posted 19 June, 2016 The last black kit we had was quite smart. Let's wait and see the actual designs first before we start moaning.
BlakeySFC Posted 20 June, 2016 Posted 20 June, 2016 Moaning ensues no matter what happens, if the away kit is anything other than yellow and blue = 'Won't be buying, not yellow and blue' If the home kit is anything other than standard stripes = 'Just ghastly, won't be buying' Moaners gonna moan.
DT Posted 20 June, 2016 Posted 20 June, 2016 Agreed. Also, black kits make our legion of fat fans look slightly less fat.

Just to be clear, other than the bit about the advert, I have no idea if it's like that or not - only that it makes sense that the design is similar to the Spurs leak. Found Toluca's new UA shirt online the other day And Sao Paolo's new UA home was released today: Also the AZ Alkmaar away shirt for 2016/17 was unveiled at the end of last season, looks like a new design with the same collar as the Sao Paolo but a nice bit of bespoke "castle wall" on the sleeve hoops:
Toadhall Saint Posted 22 June, 2016 Posted 22 June, 2016 Has the fan gone out to collect it yet? From memory they head out tomorrow but the old memory isn't what it used to be.
jawillwill Posted 22 June, 2016 Posted 22 June, 2016 I have it on good authority that we will look a bit Newcastle-y in the new away kit.
Suhari Posted 22 June, 2016 Posted 22 June, 2016 I have it on good authority that we will look a bit Newcastle-y in the new away kit. Damn. You mean players who can't be bothered and fans with an overinflated view of themselves?
SaintBitterne Posted 22 June, 2016 Posted 22 June, 2016 Damn. You mean players who can't be bothered and fans with an overinflated view of themselves? That's the dream , then we know we've made it
Essruu Posted 22 June, 2016 Posted 22 June, 2016 Not long to wait. For what - The9 to start a thread about the 2017/18 kit and the potential sock colourway clashes?
The9 Posted 23 June, 2016 Author Posted 23 June, 2016 For what - The9 to start a thread about the 2017/18 kit and the potential sock colourway clashes? Won't be much point in a 2017/18 thread until some UA teamwear stuff pops up in "the fall", we're keeping the same brand and shirt sponsor, UA are usually good not leaking stuff and it's not like we have a network of obsessed maniacs tracking this stuff down - for as long as it's stripes. Though any taxi drivers who've taken players to photoshoots for the new kit should probably be blabbing by now.
diggers Posted 23 June, 2016 Posted 23 June, 2016 Wonder what the players reporting back on the 26/27 are going to wear training kit wise?
Badger Posted 23 June, 2016 Posted 23 June, 2016 Wonder what the players reporting back on the 26/27 are going to wear training kit wise? skins v the rest
Colinjb Posted 23 June, 2016 Posted 23 June, 2016 Wonder what the players reporting back on the 26/27 are going to wear training kit wise? Non-uniform days just like we had at School, one would assume. Be sure not to be the kid who forgets.....
Harold K Steptoe Posted 23 June, 2016 Posted 23 June, 2016 Black and Grey away and third kit for Europa, still Stripes but plain red back.
InvictaSaint Posted 23 June, 2016 Posted 23 June, 2016 Black and Grey away and third kit for Europa, still Stripes but plain red back. Hmmm....registered 2 days ago and first post. [emoji54]
St Chalet Posted 23 June, 2016 Posted 23 June, 2016 Hmmm....registered 2 days ago and first post. [emoji54] I suspect he is spot on.....
doggface Posted 24 June, 2016 Posted 24 June, 2016 If anyone fancies checking out our training kit, take a look at the spurs shop. Likely same as ours (but in other colours) Looks very nice imo. http://shop.tottenhamhotspur.com/category/under-armour-training-wear?TRE00011#facets=|1http://shop.tottenhamhotspur.com/category/under-armour-training-wear?TRE00011#facets=|1
The9 Posted 24 June, 2016 Author Posted 24 June, 2016 Here's the new Colo Colo 3rd kit - this is interesting (wouldn't want it for a home kit, but quite like the style for an away).

Jesus. Lovely line in sleeveless training tops for the chavs too. And FOUR colours of training tee? Yikes. Then again we had at least 4 last season, just in two "seasons".
wild-saint Posted 24 June, 2016 Posted 24 June, 2016 I suspect he is spot on..... black and grey is defo the away strip 100%. friend works at saints and has seen it. red and white stripes for home kit (obviously)
Crab Lungs Posted 24 June, 2016 Posted 24 June, 2016 Everything I've seen from under armor is both unique and disgusting.
Pamplemousse Posted 25 June, 2016 Posted 25 June, 2016 If our home kit is red/white and the away kit is black, what kit will we wear at Bournemouth?
Whitey Grandad Posted 25 June, 2016 Posted 25 June, 2016 If our home kit is red/white and the away kit is black, what kit will we wear at Bournemouth? Brown so it won't show the fear.
Wimborne_saint Posted 25 June, 2016 Posted 25 June, 2016 Someone mentioned that there is a third kit for Europa so assume we will wear that
Saint_clark Posted 25 June, 2016 Posted 25 June, 2016 Brown so it won't show the fear. Isn't there red usually a little darker than ours? Think red and white would be different enough.
Mowgli Posted 25 June, 2016 Posted 25 June, 2016 If our home kit is red/white and the away kit is black, what kit will we wear at Bournemouth? I think the the away kit may well have a green trim on the black and grey so will not clash.
nta786 Posted 25 June, 2016 Posted 25 June, 2016 If our home kit is red/white and the away kit is black, what kit will we wear at Bournemouth? we introduced a third kit in our away game vs newcastle in 2014/15, could do that
Daft Kerplunk Posted 25 June, 2016 Posted 25 June, 2016 Someone mentioned that there is a third kit for Europa so assume we will wear that Possibly the one with the one colour back
The9 Posted 27 June, 2016 Author Posted 27 June, 2016 There's no particular reason our Europa League shirt has to be the same as our home shirt, maybe we could use that as a "third" where needed. Anyway, here's the new AZ Alkmaar: Socks and shorts might give us some ideas... The long sleeve is an actual undershirt not part of the short sleeved shirt.
Wurzel Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 If our home kit is red/white and the away kit is black, what kit will we wear at Bournemouth? Maybe they considered as we didn't turn up there last season we won't be needing one this year
The9 Posted 27 June, 2016 Author Posted 27 June, 2016 Hoping now we're on a Euros break (just til Friday, the rest of the competition is still going on), we'll see the first promos and the kit itself will be revealed over the next 3 days. The contract starts 1 July, so they'll want to be making money ASAP following then...
Wimborne_saint Posted 28 June, 2016 Posted 28 June, 2016 New training kit leak from Oriel! Sponsor on the training kits too then?
The9 Posted 28 June, 2016 Author Posted 28 June, 2016 Looks nice, vague surprise it's red... again. Just as a reminder http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/20160511-my-saints-story-southampton-under-armour-new-kits-3108120.aspx. The competition winners (who they've never announced to my knowledge) went over there from 20th-23rd and as it is now the 28th and the kit deal begins on 1st July I'm guessing tomorrow for the kit launch, with stuff on sale on Friday. Still guesswork. The competition hashtag was #mysaintsstory if anyone cares, I know I don't!
The9 Posted 28 June, 2016 Author Posted 28 June, 2016 Sponsor on the training kits too then? Good spot, that's definitely a Virgin Media logo - thought we might have managed to get a separate sponsor for the training kit by now, but whatever.
SO16_Saint Posted 28 June, 2016 Posted 28 June, 2016 Its possibly the quality of picture, or my hungover eyes, but it looks pink to me?
The9 Posted 28 June, 2016 Author Posted 28 June, 2016 (edited) Its possibly the quality of picture, or my hungover eyes, but it looks pink to me? It looks sort of pink but compare it to the colour of the definitely red Virgin Media logo... Edited 28 June, 2016 by The9
SO16_Saint Posted 28 June, 2016 Posted 28 June, 2016 Just seen this on bookface All look good, not sure how likely they will be
djharvey Posted 28 June, 2016 Posted 28 June, 2016 Villa's UA shirts now leaked on Footy Headlines site.
benjii Posted 28 June, 2016 Posted 28 June, 2016 Just seen this on bookface All look good, not sure how likely they will be Likely rating = 0%. Sorry.
SO16_Saint Posted 28 June, 2016 Posted 28 June, 2016 Likely rating = 0%. Sorry. Yup, would be nice though
S-Clarke Posted 28 June, 2016 Posted 28 June, 2016 Seeing as that's not Virgin Media's logo, I doubt it's that.
DrZuess1979 the 2nd Posted 28 June, 2016 Posted 28 June, 2016 Seeing as that's not Virgin Media's logo, I doubt it's that. Shame I like all of those
djharvey Posted 28 June, 2016 Posted 28 June, 2016 We know the away kit is black and grey, don't we? We now know what villas UA kit's look like!
