Saint-Armstrong Posted 5 July, 2015 Posted 5 July, 2015 Fans will be getting monthly insight from behind-the-scenes at Saints, as part of a new documentary. Taster:
Colinjb Posted 5 July, 2015 Posted 5 July, 2015 And already that has been spammed by childish Spurs fans.
SuperMikey Posted 5 July, 2015 Posted 5 July, 2015 And already that has been spammed by childish Spurs fans. Spurs have an internet army of child soldiers. They're like the Joseph Kony of Premier League teams.

scotty Posted 5 July, 2015 Posted 5 July, 2015 How does anybody manage to read a twitter page without vomiting?
Redslo Posted 6 July, 2015 Posted 6 July, 2015 How does anybody manage to read a twitter page without vomiting? Do it on an empty stomach?
Saint_clark Posted 6 July, 2015 Posted 6 July, 2015 Great, we get to watch Juanmi get an eye check up? If it's presented by Barry Gale then excellent.
Saint-Armstrong Posted 6 July, 2015 Author Posted 6 July, 2015 Here's episode one - 'A Sign Of The Times'. Episode one of 'The March', a new monthly documentary from the heart of Southampton Football Club, tells the inside story of Saints' off-season transfer business as Juanmi, Cédric Soares and Maarten Stekelenburg link up ahead of the 2015/16 campaign.
SuperSAINT Posted 6 July, 2015 Posted 6 July, 2015 Well that was fairly fantastic wasn't it? Really enjoyed that.
Sour Mash Posted 6 July, 2015 Posted 6 July, 2015 It was good. I reckon also part of a bigger, long-term agenda to big-up and market the club as a big club.
jemanson Posted 6 July, 2015 Posted 6 July, 2015 Very enjoyable! Someone needs to tell Cédric to fasten his seatbelt
stevy777_x Posted 6 July, 2015 Posted 6 July, 2015 These Spurs have absolutely no respect for Southampton and their fans. Big club wanabees who will never make it. Anyway very good video, sees how we conduct our transfers privately and how we search for the right profiles. Don t think we will be signing any Osvaldos from now on.
Saint Garrett Posted 6 July, 2015 Posted 6 July, 2015 Thought it was going to be quite crap, but actually a really worthwhile watch. Good stuff Saints as always.
pangy Posted 6 July, 2015 Posted 6 July, 2015 Enjoyed that, really excited to see Juanmi and Soares now after that,it would seem they reckon these two can go far
david in sweden Posted 6 July, 2015 Posted 6 July, 2015 ........almost feel like a member of the squad - if only I was fit enough.......and young enough......
SO16_Saint Posted 6 July, 2015 Posted 6 July, 2015 You get the feeling that everyone associated with the club are 'nice' people
Batman Posted 6 July, 2015 Posted 6 July, 2015 everyone seems nice. you get the feeling that they have big hopes for juanmi
S-Clarke Posted 6 July, 2015 Posted 6 July, 2015 everyone seems nice. you get the feeling that they have big hopes for juanmi I also got the impression from Koeman that he was so delighted the club managed to secure Cedric, I think he rates him very, very highly. And to be fair, it seems as if we wizzed into action as soon as Clyne said cheerio.
suewhistle Posted 6 July, 2015 Posted 6 July, 2015 ........almost feel like a member of the squad - if only I was fit enough.......and young enough...... .. and the right sex! Mind you, Southampton Ladies were a top team in their day. I'd like to see that again...
Saint_clark Posted 6 July, 2015 Posted 6 July, 2015 Is it just me or does Stekelenburgs agent have a touch of Dustin Hoffman about him?
Appy Posted 6 July, 2015 Posted 6 July, 2015 Is it just me or does Stekelenburgs agent have a touch of Dustin Hoffman about him? Looks like Gary Cahill in that shot.
Saint_clark Posted 6 July, 2015 Posted 6 July, 2015 Oh how I wish we had this when Osvaldo kicked off...
davefizzy14 Posted 6 July, 2015 Posted 6 July, 2015 Great video, well done to the clubs media team. We are really in a good place
Lallana's Left Peg Posted 7 July, 2015 Posted 7 July, 2015 Not just very insightful, but also the Production values are outstanding as well. Great stuff. EDIT: It is also a good vehicle for the club to bring players and personnel closer to the fans. It humanises them.
Beckenham Saint Posted 7 July, 2015 Posted 7 July, 2015 Thoroughly enjoyed that! Well worth a watch (for those who haven't yet)
Golden Balls Posted 7 July, 2015 Posted 7 July, 2015 Enjoyed that. Will only get better during the tours of Austria and Holland and then even more so during the season. Kelvin is the man! Really hope we retain him when he retires. Also noticed the lack of seatbelt from Cedric. Didn't realise the academy still clean the boots. I like that.
Saint_clark Posted 7 July, 2015 Posted 7 July, 2015 Gaston introducing himself to Davis was quite funny. Wonder if he'll be involved this season after getting a year of starting experience at Hull.
S-Clarke Posted 7 July, 2015 Posted 7 July, 2015 Gaston introducing himself to Davis was quite funny. Wonder if he'll be involved this season after getting a year of starting experience at Hull. A year of starting on the bench, you mean. He'll be gone. Club have actively said they're looking for buyers for him.
Matthew Le God Posted 7 July, 2015 Posted 7 July, 2015 Gaston introducing himself to Davis was quite funny. Wonder if he'll be involved this season after getting a year of starting experience at Hull. He started only 11 Premier League games for Hull.
nta786 Posted 7 July, 2015 Posted 7 July, 2015 A year of starting on the bench, you mean. He'll be gone. Club have actively said they're looking for buyers for him. Have they? Is there a source you could provide? I'm guessing the club did this through the Daily Echo or?
S-Clarke Posted 7 July, 2015 Posted 7 July, 2015 Have they? Is there a source you could provide? I'm guessing the club did this through the Daily Echo or? It was in a Jeremy Wilson article (i think) and also on the echo. I don't think they're expecting to get big bucks, but just to get him off the wage bill. Clear he isn't suited to England.
Beckenham Saint Posted 7 July, 2015 Posted 7 July, 2015 A year of starting on the bench, you mean. He'll be gone. Club have actively said they're looking for buyers for him. Missed that quote. I saw Koeman say though that it's helpful to have him at the club as he speaks Spanish and that will help Juanmi. I think he'd be very handy this year with more games ("more games for him to miss through injury" before anyone else makes the joke) but I think he'd do well in the Europa league and think he would be a good option with players like Mané and Juanmi running onto the through balls he's capable of.
