Saint-Armstrong Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 @Aschwin_Sprik: @SimonPeach That were Feyenoord fans. Don't know why they are in Arnhem
Pancake Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Ffs, just go and watch the cricket for a bit rather than kick off.
SFCRedandWhite Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 The incidents happened in the main area in Arnhem, away from the Saints zone, which is apparently still buzzing
trousers Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 @Aschwin_Sprik: @SimonPeach That were Feyenoord fans. Don't know why they are in Arnhem Probably because a significant number of them probably have an affinity with Saints given the Koeman/Pellets/Clasie connections
Saint Garrett Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Pretty shocking, shame really, shouldn't happen.
MikeSFC Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Friend over there text me saying no saints fan were involved in the initial bust up, but obviously some got involved after it kicked off. Shame seemed like a great atmosphere.
Bewildered Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Simon Peach @SimonPeach 2m2 minutes ago Some 'fans' clearly wanted trouble. Saw one ask 'you Saints?' When Dutchman shook his head, he pushed him. Same supporter whacked with baton idiots
jasonb Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 TractorSaint @TractorSaint 1 min1 minute ago A trusted source said that Feyenoord fans rocked up & caused trouble, not #saintsfc #VITSOU. All over pretty quick Hope this is accurate.
Shroppie Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 (edited) @Aschwin_Sprik: @SimonPeach That were Feyenoord fans. Don't know why they are in Arnhem Talking with a Vitesse fan last night he was worried a Feyenoord mob were coming over to stir things. Said they'll be at the match too out to cause trouble. Feyenoord are to Vitesse what P*mpey are to Saints. But no denying a few idiots in Saints shirts got involved. And quite a few will be too drunk to make the game. SFCRedandWhite Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 50 dutch fans and 3 English fans arrested...
Matthew Le God Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Mainly Dutch arrested... Simon Peach @SimonPeach 3m3 minutes ago #SaintsFC spokesperson says 50 Dutch fans arrested, three English. Visiting fans being provided with buses to stadium.
jasonb Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Rinaldo Bijker @BijkerRinaldo 2 mins #saintsfc #vitesse Good work on the f**ker who started the riots. f**k off you're not #saintsfc or #vitesse supporter.
Saint Charlie Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Do we still love Feyenoord? Or are we more Vitesse now? Or Groningen?
Saint-Armstrong Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 @AdamLeitchSport: Good news is trouble earlier was not #saintsfc related. Feyenoord fans turned up after Vitesse supporters. Was outside of official fanzone.
JakkoUK Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 The reported 'Saints fans' were most likely Feyenoord fans in Southampton shirts.. however wouldn't surprise me if some **** heads from this end joined in though.
Lazlo78 Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 (edited) Our best bets as far as I can see: Dinamo Minsk 0:1 FC Zurich (1:1 now in extra time) Jablonec 2:0 FC Copenhagen (2:1) Vojvodina 0:0 Sampdoria (4:0) Željezničar 0:0 Standard Liege (1:2) Rabotnički 0:1 Trabzonspor (1:1 now in extra time) Astra 2:1 West Ham (4:3) Jablonec, Vojvodina and hopefully Astra should come good. Then we only need one more - Minsk or Rabotnicki? Edited 6 August, 2015 by Lazlo78
MarijnArnhem Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Dutch media say it were feyenoord "fans" Who started it. They were there to support southampton and were aiming for vitesse supporters. Pathetic. 50 Fey fans arrested, 3 english guys. Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G800F met Tapatalk
Lazlo78 Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Our best bets as far as I can see: Dinamo Minsk 0:1 FC Zurich (1:1 now in extra time) Jablonec 2:0 FC Copenhagen (2:1) Vojvodina 0:0 Sampdoria (4:0) Željezničar 0:0 Standard Liege (1:2) Rabotnički 0:1 Trabzonspor (1:1 now in extra time) Astra 2:1 West Ham (4:3) Jablonec, Vojvodina and hopefully Astra should come good. Then we only need one more - Minsk or Rabotnicki? Now 3:1 to Jablonec, game over. 3 more ties needed to swing our way?
Lazlo78 Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 (edited) 10-man Rabotnicki scores the winner in the 112th minute!!! Edited 6 August, 2015 by Lazlo78
Lazlo78 Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 10-men Copenhagen scores their second after the red card - now 2:3 on the night and 3:3 on aggregate. Still Jablonec through...
Lazlo78 Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Jablonec and Rabotnicki now finished. 2 to go, yes?
CB Fry Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Basically the seeding is going to be marginal and we'll end up on the wrong side of it, won't we? (sorry to be all Alpine about it).
ScottishSaint79 Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 If West ham fail to win and sampdoria don't turn round the 4-0 pumping of first leg (albeit they are 1-0 up) saints will be seeded.
Lazlo78 Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Astra still 2:1 up and Vojvodina still 4:1 up, so as far as I see it we might make it. Still, I only base this on the calculations of others in this thread so I claim no responsibility for the validity
Lazlo78 Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Astra and Minsk do the business too - we're in the top seed yes?
Pamplemousse Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 We've got the 4 results we needed so Saints are definitely seeded
Saints Warrior Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Does anyone know when the next round is, 4th round qualifier? I need to a passport and book holiday if we get somewhere decent
Batman Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Does anyone know when the next round is, 4th round qualifier? I need to a passport and book holiday if we get somewhere decent 20+27 August (i think)
Lallana's Left Peg Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 20+27 August (i think) You are correct!
VectisSaint Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 We've got the 4 results we needed so Saints are definitely seeded Not yet we're not. But looks good. Minsk need to hold on, and Vojvodina looks nailed on but still 35 minutes left. We should be 21st.
Saints Warrior Posted 6 August, 2015 Posted 6 August, 2015 Thanks, not much time and notice for work ! I take it the draw will be in a few days?
