S-Clarke Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 I'm still trying to work out what Henderson is good at. Passing it sideways, and then passing it backwards. Expert.
beatlesaint Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 So rather than bring on Clyne, a proper RB, he moves Henderson to RB. You can't help but wonder about this big club bias sometimes. Yet this from a man who managed Blackburn, Fulham and WBA so he hardly has a blinkered big club mentality.
Lighthouse Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 So rather than bring on Clyne, a proper RB, he moves Henderson to RB. You can't help but wonder about this big club bias sometimes. Surely it's well beyond the point of wonder by now?
Dellman Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 Who would do better than Hodgson? Maybe Pardew's turn but I doubt he would take it, too much sense
markr27 Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 BREAKING: "Raheem would have liked to come off at halftime. This team no longer matched his ambition." - agent. - doing the rounds on Twitter at present...
davesaint Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 England women were good last night... this is awful
Crab Lungs Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 I'm still trying to work out what Henderson is good at. Mugged a living from day dot in football. If you put in him the Conference he still wouldn't stand out - he's a very, very poor footballer. People can harp on about a couple of wonder goals he's scored - big deal; loads of players at all levels have scored beauties. His overall game and lack of ability is shocking. He can't pass, can shoot (a little) and never, ever, ever tackles... just runs alongside opponents. Good at fist pumping though.
S-Clarke Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 - doing the rounds on Twitter at present... Just imagine if England was a club though, just how many of these big headed players would says such a thing? I can imagine quite a few saying they need to move to win things.
davesaint Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 Who would do better than Hodgson? Maybe Pardew's turn but I doubt he would take it, too much sense Koeman?
Katalinic Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 I'm still trying to work out what Henderson is good at. He does a great Jim Magilton wobbly head impression.
beatlesaint Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 Roy does know that Delph doesn't play for a big club does he ?
davesaint Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 On a more serious note....is Rooney's transplant failing?
Lighthouse Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 Who would do better than Hodgson? Maybe Pardew's turn but I doubt he would take it, too much sense They need to sort out their system first. Decide what suits our players best and find a manager who has had success playing a similar style. It doesn't need to be an English man or a guy who knows the Premier League. Look at Pochettino, fighting relegation with Sevilla and couldn't even speak English but he played a system that suited our players and was the right man for the job. The same with Adkins to an extent, struggling in the Championship with Scunny but he knew how to get our team playing the right way.
davesaint Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 Great goal by Wilshere, to be fair. Best England player on pitch by a mile
Crab Lungs Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 On a more serious note....is Rooney's transplant failing? Yes. He clearly didn't do his research... I think he used a Brit doctor, actually... and we don't have any good HT transplant surgeons in the country IMO.
Lighthouse Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 Is Rooney really going to go down in history as our all time top scorer?
Whitey Grandad Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 Is Rooney really going to go down in history as our all time top scorer? All time top misser.
JakkoUK Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 Not a fan of Wilshere, spends more time on the floor then on his feet.. But when he does there's no doubt he can play, lovely strike.
Saint Charlie Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 Lallana such a talented player. Was great watching him at St Mary's on top form.
Plastic Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 God we are a fûkin awful team aren't we? Bring back Sven.
Saint Billy Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 On a more serious note....is Rooney's transplant failing? Yes and so is his football. His first touch, second touch, every touch is ****e.
Crab Lungs Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 Been saying for about 3-4 years Lallana and Wilshere playing close together would be sexual. Shame our national team manager has taken this long to figure that out.
S-Clarke Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 Been saying for about 3-4 years Lallana and Wilshere playing close together would be sexual. Shame our national team manager has taken this long to figure that out. Maybe he ignored their phone calls?
Plastic Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 Where on earth has this game come from???? Slovenia ...Hohoho
Lighthouse Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 According to Townsend, "that's what the best players do." What? Miss a hat full of absolute sitters against Slovenia, then get a tap in from a lucky deflection off a third rate defender?
SNSUN Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 Papering over the cracks again, nice one England. The best thing Hodgson ever did was keep Harry away from the England job, though now I wonder how differently it would've gone...
Saint Billy Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 According to Townsend, "that's what the best players do." What? Miss a hat full of absolute sitters against Slovenia, then get a tap in from a lucky deflection off a third rate defender? I noticed that he didn't even look up when shooting. The most overrated England player and almost top scorer, defies logic! I can't stand the guy.
Sour Mash Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 Been saying for about 3-4 years Lallana and Wilshere playing close together would be sexual. Shame our national team manager has taken this long to figure that out. 4 years ago Lallana had just been promoted with us from League One. The last couple of years they've both had loads of injuries.
Sour Mash Posted 14 June, 2015 Posted 14 June, 2015 I enjoyed that game, thought England dominated and would have won by a lot more with better finishing.
