Not sure it's going to be received very well on here!!

Come on, we need something to moan about. We're into mid June now, and still nothing major to complain about. Chomping at the bit. ;)

Saw the actual shirt earlier this week, and the shade of green is basically fluorescent, with a dark navy sash.

More photos of the new kit in today's Daily Echo, btw.

Don't particularly like it, and the fact other clubs have also announced green away kits means it's just a bit of a fad industry wide, like the great cream/beige craze of the mid nineties.

Smart. Just like we knew it would be.

Not a shirt wearer myself, but will be popular IMO. And for the fashion concious, goes a bit better with denim than red and white stripes!

Er, not sure you'll be saying that when you see it in the flesh. It's a bit... loud, and in your face.

I wondered why I couldn't get back to sleep after my early morning pee today - I normally have no problems - but it must have been the green glow to the West.

Maybe there is some truth behind the Seattle Sounders tie-in rumours? Looks very close to their colours, and Ralph hinted in his interview this week that he fees we will grow further in the U.S. (But couldn't say anymore at this stage)

Looks OK in the photo but as you've seen it up close and saying 'fluorescent', then maybe you're right.

As my mother always said "blue and green should never be seen, without a colour in between"

My mum used to say to me 'if you don't leave it alone, it'll fall off'.

Happy days.

Nice. I like it. This is what away kits should be about. Home to keep the tradition and away to break the mould and try something new.

Slime green. Darker green would be so much better. Probably the worst away since the white one we could never wear.

But its just a kit so doesnt really matter.

Odd that the club have edited the pic on the OS to make it seem a different shade of green than it actually is.

hmmm, if the green makes our players blend in with the grass, is that bad because it'll be harder for them to pick out team-mates for passing and crossing? Or good because we can make stealthy runs without the other side spotting us? :)

I imagine that our sports scientists have worked that one out.

I think you'll find it was an Ecru craze lead by us and Liverhampton (that always cracks me up)

The fashion conscious, or anyone over the age of 10 who isn't and obese, scruffy, odd ball wouldn't wear a football shirt with jeans

That's ecru to you.

seems to be a bit of a trend. stoke and west hams away kits last year were pretty similar

That's Stoke's this year (and it's black with a green sash). West Ham didn't have a green kit last year either.

Now Swansea this season...

Seeing as we all saw it leaked in February it's hardly a surprise, and I'd already decided I liked it. VERY Seattle Sounders, now what was that Paul Allen rumour again...?

Can't stand it the green and blue combo is horrible and the way the sash stops before the shoulder strips and doesn't flow to the bottom of the shirt when it hits the seam to the back looks really cheap! Oh well it's only an away kit for a season just can't help but think the same think in yellow and blue would have looked nicer and it wasn't like I was going to buy one anyway!
