Good odds for Clyne to stay. Interesting that we're massive odds on favourites for Song, someone has been laying down a wedge for that to happen.

Favourites for Dost (other than staying at Wolfsburg) which is interesting as I haven't seen us linked with him.

Chelsea ahead of us in the race for Austin as well, I can't see that one happening, could be a decent bet to come to Saints.

And Clasie odds on to stay at Feyenoord, I think he'll be on the move somewhere, hopefully us.

My bets would be - Clyne to stay @ 4-1, Austin in @ 5-1, Morgan to United @ 8-13, Clasie in @ 6-4.

I can't see Schneiderlin staying under any circumstances with him wanting to get a run of games at a bigger club and ensure he's in with a shout of starting at Euro 2016 in France, tbh.

If wishes were horses beggars would ride as my Gran used to say. 25 million is a lot of money and I really can't see many teams being willing to pay it. The 8/13 quote is just based on one brief Canal+Sport "fact". Last season he was about 1/4 to join Spurs.

We were also odds on favourite for Austen a couple of days ago.

Could do worse, local Hampshire player, will add to our Home Grown roster, would do well if we played at Mansfield Park. On the negative side, even older than Kelvin and hasn't been credited with an assist for a few years.

Will never happen, get some sense (and sensibility)....

Austin to West Ham odds on now. Some have suspended betting apparently

Comical.

Absolutely, most of these odds mean nothing whatsoever because of the constant stream of wild speculation concerning transfers just now. Rumour gossip on tweeter, player is suddenly 5/1 on or something like that. Can't believe that pepople are actually prepared to lose money over all of this crap.

It's funny because on the Sky Transfer centre earlier, they ran 2 stories: 1 on Ramos being a Utd target & 1 on Schweinsteiger being a Utd target.

Then the next story posted was Sky Bet saying how odds had shifted for both! - No sh*t!

Surely there has got to be a conflict of interest there, I mean it's so easy for them to mislead fools and then liberate them of their hard earned (or benefits..whichever the case may be).

I don't bet, or really understand how it all works, but even I can tell it's dodgy.

It's being going on for a looooooong time now. I have no problem with the stupid being relieved of their money, especially if it leads to opportunities to do stuff like laying Alderweireld to Spurs, f'rinstance.

I do not bet either because it's a mugs game but I understand how it works having had an uncle who worked for a Romford bookie....and that's something benter than a 9 bob note.

What was the name of that bookie in north baddesley who got royally screwed on a big, long odds bet and simply packed his stuff and disappeared? He had a place in the precinct.

Yohan cabaye now odds on to sign for saints. The ITK twitter account who said we've bid £9m does have sources up in North East so possible he heard via Newcastle source I suppose. Good player although wouldn't be long term signing at 29.

In fact the odds on a move to Saints are drifting a bit of late. Shortening for Palace today. Still odds on to us, don't really know why though, but not so odds on as yesterday.

I think he'd be a great signing and would be a great partner for Wanyama in midfield. Reed and Ward-Prowse could learn a lot from him but it doesn't feel like our sort of signing. 29, big wages. I can't really see it

sometimes the value of having a particular player is not just on match day but what they can add during the week to younger players. Koeman has been quoted previously as saying he is not adverse to having a more experienced player to help with the development and education of younger ones...perhaps Cabaye is this player.

Cabaye would be a pretty sick signing - summer could end up looking like this

Juanmi - £5m

Cedric - £3m

Stekelenberg - Wages

Cabaye - £9m

Toby - £18m

Midfield Cruncher - 15m

Young RB - 2m

total £52m

Clyne & Morgan off - £40m. Net out lay £12m + wages.

Would give us enough depth to maintain, maybe push up 1 or 3!, league position and hopefully a couple of decent cup runs.

If wanyama dosent count as a midfield cruncher I don't know who does.hes pratically the defenition of the term

A sick signing? Why would we sign someone who is ill? What is wrong with him?

Take out your midfield cruncher, that's what Big Vic is there for, and keep Morgan and Clyne and wowzers, bring on next season.

Morgan is pretty destructive as a midfielder which is what i was getting at, our defence was so good as Morgan and Vic never let anyone get at them.

Gregorz/Song/Clasie - any of those three could fill a morgan shaped hole with cabaye where stevie D plays now.

Obv wanyama is amazing.
