Joneth Posted 9 June, 2015 Posted 9 June, 2015 Interesting that we're playing two Red Bull teams, any potential sponsorship link there?

Saint Charlie Posted 9 June, 2015 Posted 9 June, 2015 Some decent opposition, no point bothering with League One oppo over here really. Tight run of games around the Europa League stuff though so will be chances for a few younger players to proove their worth.
Pilchards Posted 9 June, 2015 Posted 9 June, 2015 I'm not sure why we are going to Holland again, do we have a Dutch connection or something?
Sour Mash Posted 9 June, 2015 Posted 9 June, 2015 Surprised we've gone for so many abroad what with a couple of European trips by the end of August as well.
andoru Posted 9 June, 2015 Posted 9 June, 2015 I swear it's a coincidence that I'm arriving in Salzburg on the 10th of July and leaving on the 12th.
Professor Posted 9 June, 2015 Posted 9 June, 2015 Surprised we've gone for so many abroad what with a couple of European trips by the end of August as well. The days when travel to Europe was an expedition are long past. Many European airports are as easy to get to as Manchester or Newcastle so I wouldn't think the club feel it matters too much where they go, especially as The Netherlands is so close. I sometimes commute to Paris or Brussels for the day, which at one time would have been unthinkable.

Potentially 6 games in Europe by the end of August is a lot though.
View From The Top Posted 9 June, 2015 Posted 9 June, 2015 I'll be taking the lad to Rotterdam via Amsterdam. That'll open his eyes to the world.
Sour Mash Posted 25 June, 2015 Posted 25 June, 2015 Espanyol as the home game on the 2nd of August. Not a glamourous fixture, but will do the job in terms of pre-season, hopefully really cheap tickets.
Andy Durman Posted 27 June, 2015 Posted 27 June, 2015 Do you think Saints will fly in on the day of The match against Leipzig??? or will they arrive the day before and train??? I'll go for both games and also want to watch them train
