ALWAYS_SFC Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 He dove to his right before Lampard even hit the shot, stay on your feet and try to react. He did similar earlier when Aguero blasted wide of the near post - he was already diving to the right. Had Aguero got it on target Davis would have looked a right chump. Sorry but that`s cobblers pal...
Hodgey Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 They could be 4 up by now - this reminds me of the home game
Edmonton Saint Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 We are a shambles at the moment. Kelvin keeping us in it.
Saint Charlie Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 Got to make sure its only 1-0 at HT and then we are still in the game!
Saint_clark Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 Sorry but that`s cobblers pal... Watch it again, you cannot possibly say he waits and reacts - because if so, that's even worse.
SaintLiam Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 Thought he needed a clean sheet to draw level? Mignolet, Forster, Hart and Fabianski all on 13 before this round of games Mignolet now out of contention (lol) and jesus SuperKelv really doesn't want Aguero to score one does he?
tpbury Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 Toure has out muscled Vic at least twice. Great saves from Davies. We're not without a chance
BotleySaint Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 They could be 4 up by now - this reminds me of the home game To be fair though you are looking at one of the top top teams in this league when they are in their groove.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 Watch it again, you cannot possibly say he waits and reacts - because if so, that's even worse. Just think you are looking to scapegoat
Plastic Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 Pelle shouting for the ball, totally unaware that he's about 10 ft offside lol
Jimmy_D Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 Mignolet, Forster, Hart and Fabianski all on 13 before this round of games Mignolet now out of contention (lol) and jesus SuperKelv really doesn't want Aguero to score one does he? Ah, right you are.
ScepticalStan Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 Well Liverpool are going to look awfully silly regardless of how things go in our game.
Saint Charlie Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 Well Liverpool are going to look awfully silly regardless of how things go in our game. They are a shambles. That they finish above us after our fantastic season just shows how tough it is for anyone to really upset the financial/historic order in the PL.
SaintLiam Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 4-0 Stoke...well even if we finish behind the scousers at least they have the worst possible finish to their season
ScepticalStan Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 They are a shambles. That they finish above us after our fantastic season just shows how tough it is for anyone to really upset the financial/historic order in the PL. They've still taken six points off us this season. Can't complain.
CB Fry Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 Shame Brendan's pasting at Stoke may well be for nothing as far as we're concerned. Can see him sacked for it though.
BotleySaint Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 ah.. if only we could turn this game around it would be so good. Just need 2 goals eh?

lifeintheslowlane Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 Good job Rogers is 150% confident of the boards backing. Most teams 4 nil down before half time would be looking for a new manager the following week. Oops 5 nil.
Jimmy_D Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 5-0! Our 8-0 is under threat as the biggest win of the season lol
Batman Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 Meh, they are clearly better than us. no drama Funny score at stoke I would love to see Stoke give them 5 edit 5-0 lol
Saint Charlie Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 They've still taken six points off us this season. Can't complain. Exactly. Massive chance to finish 5th this season. We aren't that far off but today isn't the reason we won't. I think Koeman and the players, whilst thrilled at the season, in the back of their minds will be a tiny bit disappointed when they reflect on the season as a whole that we didnt quite manage that as to beat the likes of Liverpool or Spurs over a whole season would be a great achievement.
Batman Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 dont forget, rodgers is the next great manager of english football. the best to get the most out of young players I really dislike him
Colinjb Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 Oh Liverpool, Hilarious. Obviously I want us to finish above them, but their humiliation is just joy in itself.
SNSUN Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 Winning our game would be serious fappage material. 2 little goals with no return. 6th guaranteed. And I still fancy Everton to have a say...
austsaint Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 Djuricic looking for a contract And on his first half display he will get one.
BotleySaint Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 We've looked dangerous occasionally. Tough one for Pelle there as the defender was in the way.
SO16_Saint Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 Wtf. Just seen the scores. With Liverpool beaten, we HAVE to go all out for a win second half.
Ohio Saint Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 still only 1-0, which is very lucky for us. Whatever happens, I just hope Saints can keep my hopes alive and take this season right up to the final whistle.
Saxon Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 There is some outstanding football taking place at the Britannia. Really really outstanding performances and it sets to be an outstanding result. I have to sat, if we do lose this, to Man City (so lets not moan too much as they're playing well and I mean come on, it's Man City) it's nice to already be drinking the consolation tonic in the form of the outstanding happenings at the Britannia. Now for Everton to get an equaliser and perk up after half-time... and maybe us to do the same?
SaintLiam Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 Picked it up towards the end. Still quite confident in this game.
Hodgey Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 Just interesting that we seem to be able to keep other teams chances down but City clearly know how to create against us. Fair play Kelv (and Forster in the home game) for keeping the score down. Can see this being 3-0 again, especially when the players hear the spurs ht score. Still great season and personally I'm unconvinced that we can handle being in Europe and not be looking at the wrong end of the table (I also don't think Spurs or Liverpool want to be in ironically).
Sheaf Saint Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 What a f*cking dreadful atmosphere. It's the last game of the season and we can secure European football with a result, but the place is like a graveyard.
MOSaint Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 Frustrating that we are not creating more considering City look shaky at the back. Were it not for Davis we'd be 3-0 down though.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 The way City are playing I cannot see us getting more than a draw out of this game unless they collapse dramatically. As good as we are, you can tell the gulf in quality. Shame, but we should not be disappointed in this season whatsoever. Arse for the cup then!
cobbysouth Posted 24 May, 2015 Posted 24 May, 2015 Been impressed with Djuricic, most likely gunna be too little too late I'm afraid. Can't see him in a southampton shirt next season.
