He dove to his right before Lampard even hit the shot, stay on your feet and try to react. He did similar earlier when Aguero blasted wide of the near post - he was already diving to the right. Had Aguero got it on target Davis would have looked a right chump.

Sorry but that`s cobblers pal...

Thought he needed a clean sheet to draw level?

Mignolet, Forster, Hart and Fabianski all on 13 before this round of games

Mignolet now out of contention (lol)

and jesus SuperKelv really doesn't want Aguero to score one does he?

They've still taken six points off us this season. Can't complain.

Exactly. Massive chance to finish 5th this season. We aren't that far off but today isn't the reason we won't. I think Koeman and the players, whilst thrilled at the season, in the back of their minds will be a tiny bit disappointed when they reflect on the season as a whole that we didnt quite manage that as to beat the likes of Liverpool or Spurs over a whole season would be a great achievement.

There is some outstanding football taking place at the Britannia. Really really outstanding performances and it sets to be an outstanding result.

I have to sat, if we do lose this, to Man City (so lets not moan too much as they're playing well and I mean come on, it's Man City) it's nice to already be drinking the consolation tonic in the form of the outstanding happenings at the Britannia. Now for Everton to get an equaliser and perk up after half-time... and maybe us to do the same? :D

Just interesting that we seem to be able to keep other teams chances down but City clearly know how to create against us. Fair play Kelv (and Forster in the home game) for keeping the score down. Can see this being 3-0 again, especially when the players hear the spurs ht score. Still great season and personally I'm unconvinced that we can handle being in Europe and not be looking at the wrong end of the table (I also don't think Spurs or Liverpool want to be in ironically).

The way City are playing I cannot see us getting more than a draw out of this game unless they collapse dramatically. As good as we are, you can tell the gulf in quality. Shame, but we should not be disappointed in this season whatsoever. Arse for the cup then!
