Bad Wolf Posted 19 May, 2015 Posted 19 May, 2015 http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/12957435.Former_Saints_striker_Ormerod_applies_for_Subway_franchise/?ref=fbpg He really is hard working in every sense of the phrase. Not just on the pitch but off it, it would seem. When I was growing up and my dad was telling me about all the Saints players from his day, he'd always say things like "He became a plumber when he retired" or "He's got a fish and chip shop in Woolston" and I always thought it was so weird that ex top flight footballers would go on to have "normal" jobs and since then I'd always assumed those days were gone. Fair play to him.
Saint Mikey Posted 19 May, 2015 Posted 19 May, 2015 True, but he's hardly going to be working behind the counter is he?
John Boy Saint Posted 19 May, 2015 Posted 19 May, 2015 True, but he's hardly going to be working behind the counter is he? Funnily enough he has said he will be sweeping the floors as his wife won't let him make the sandwiches!!
andoru Posted 19 May, 2015 Posted 19 May, 2015 I'll start the jokes: 1. Bread Ormerod: Super Sub. 2. What's the oven for? It's where the subs warm up. 3. What's the sub of the day? Dejan Lovren.
St.Patrik Posted 19 May, 2015 Posted 19 May, 2015 Offcourse instead of a BLT he must have a MLT one : ) Meat instead of Bacon just to honour the legend.....
jawillwill Posted 19 May, 2015 Posted 19 May, 2015 Surely Baguette Ormerod? No, I think it is actually Brett. At least according to Wikipedia. P.s. Bread Ormerod works better though.
LeBizzier69 Posted 19 May, 2015 Posted 19 May, 2015 And if you're not happy with your Panini you can swap it.....
