Anyone heard a rumour about Gardos going back to Romania for 6.8 mill? There's a post on Chinese social media of a screenshot from Romanian TV. Can't read it, but seems like that's what it's hinting at.

The car belongs to Florin Gardos, the Romanian national football player. He played as a defender at Steaua before leaving in the Kingdom, the British team player at Southampton.

British team bought by 6.8 million, the second transfer that amount from Romania, after that of Vlad Chiriches. Gardos lives in Winchester, an hour from London, but two days a week - Sunday and Monday were spent in the great metropolis. Team news PROTV went with him a little walk.

"The driving difficult at first, I had least until I got used, I took a few curbs. But it's OK, I'm used to, I do not drive through London, that's the truth, you only go to training Southampton and that's all. London is very crowded, hard to find parking and prefer to come by train, "said the footballer.

He travels a lot and in London and beyond. He saw museums, monuments, and restaurants staif UK. So has known many Romanians settled in the Kingdom. Everyone will recognize you to take pictures with him and most have sent photos via social networking online. And since Florin saw that Romanians are presented in the British press that embarrass us, had an idea.

He initiated and created a unique online campaign group which suggestively named " Romans as a world "where put pictures of those he meets. Whether it's a train that travels, a beauty salon, a Japanese restaurant, or even a taxi that arrived at the station, Florin Gardos collected pictures of Romanians everywhere. "There are some who do not know me and I tell them, look, I have a campaign, take pictures with Romanian and ask them when you came ... are open ... In general, people are satisfied with the financial situation here, most of it came. From my discussions everyone wants to come back one time, but do not know when, "says Gardos.

Even now earn large sums of British football, Florin Gardos says he knows what it's like to go down. By playing the star and championship in the Kingdom, he lived modestly in Bucharest, in a small studio foate.

Today, soccer has rented a house chic 100 kilometers from London, and when he comes in great metropolis will be staying at hotels with claims, along with his girlfriend. Tell the UK it change him and the Romans he meets on the way. Country's common sense and it shows in the smallest details, says Florin.

"We have a lot to learn and primarily civilization and common sense. In terms of common sense, where I was in Europe, the English are the most sense. And a little thing, escalators elementary civilized ... you mean you no to you, "says the athlete.

And more recently, inspire their colleagues to promote Romanian Romanian national with whom we are proud abroad. The goalkeeper Tatarusanu already playing in Italy and began posting pictures of young people in his town.

Romani in UK

Gardos has grown used to the idea that the Kingdom plays football in the first day of the year and says that this is another proof of seriousness in the English Championship. The team was early in the season in 3rd place, but also lowered several positions. Florin says that the summer wants to bring more to the team mates a holiday in Romania. He wants to show and Bucharest, and foodie coast with beautiful girls in Mamaia.

"I have heard good things can only good thing I know I'm beautiful girls ... I always say let holiday, let a weekend. There are beautiful things to see and I really want to bring some colleagues," explains the novel.

He read the press in London and saw the black and white Romanians begging playing through the center. Florin Gardos from the Romanian national specify that they will never occur in his photos. For the Romans it the world are those who do the job properly.

"The truth is that Romanians are working people and that's a downside here, I noticed. The services are not as good as us. That is a trivial example, delivery of furniture, it took me 14 days to get mobile home. All sorts of excuses, even Romans are workers and they are put on the job, work. Indeed, there are negative cases that do not make us proud, but not representative, so I say, "Florin Gardos ends.

It considers a country as colleagues, leave together in long cantonments. In which everyone is as honorable in front of the English, pay their taxes to the British state, integrates and what do not bother.

Especially as one (or both) of Stephens and Turnbull can come back and play a bit part next season, having looked competent at Swindon!

This looks like good point. With two young CBs available for the squad Gardos is looking surplus to requirements. If the fee being talked about is correct that would be helpful money to boost the team elsewhere.

He's not good enough to be a regular starter, I wonder whether we plan to refresh our CBs aside from hopefully tying up Alderweireld, or whether Stephens/Turnbull will be considered?

4th choice Centre-back is always a tricky spot to nail down. I think only given a run of games to you really find out how good they are.

I read something a few months back (from Reed I think) that indicated Stephens and Turnbull will be added to our first team squad for next season. From what I've gleaned from Koeman's comments is that we'll keep Toby if possible and that will be that - or if we can't, we'll just sign to replace him. I think generally he's happy with our CB options, and why shouldn't he be given the record this year!

I'm a bit disappointed in Gardos to be honest. It seems as if he's another expensive CB addition who isn't fancied here. Not as hopeless as Forren though. I think he's shown glimpses, especially Arsenal away in the cup - but in other games he has looked very clumsy and slow.

Yoshida's 3rd choice and with very few exceptions has consistently put in performances which show he's not good enough to start in a top 6 team, so I'd hope we were looking for 1st choice players as replacements.

Let's face it, if we could get Lovren back for £10m he'd be a decent signing, unlike Liverpool we know we already have a player he can listen to and partner who can get us to at least 8th.

I said that above, I believe both are good enough to be back up. I can see Turnbull going on loan again perhaps for half a season??

Not a chance we will recoup the fee, nor that a Romanian club would have the funds to pay it. He hasn't impressed when I've seen him. He was woeful in The Sheff United game for example. Like all, players he needs a run of games, but maybe it's better he doesn't get them as it means we have some fit players performing well ahead if him. If Toby doesn't come back then things change dramatically.

He was only one piece of a successful defence of course, but I think the team's results when he played were still good, particularly as he played when Toby wasn't there. He isn't as good as Toby of course, but is a decent player and will get better. I think he is better than some give him credit for. Remember that our two lads on loan helped concede 5 against Sheff Utd in the playoffs...!

maybe I'm being stupid....but isn't the article saying that he was purchased by saints for 6.8m? And that he came from bucharest?

Don't think it mentions him returning....
