Gemmel Posted 15 May, 2015 Posted 15 May, 2015 Some of you will start seeing this on TV and in the papers and as my son Is taking part and this is his first day of fundraising, I thought I would try and give him a helping hand. The link below to the donation page, tells a little bit more about the story and the video gives an insight into the challenge. https://www.gofundme.com/ud57fgk7y This is all for local under priviledged kids and any help would be much appreciated. The Club have been great and for those really interested tickets will be going on sale shortly, so you can go and cheer them on.
Gemmel Posted 15 May, 2015 Author Posted 15 May, 2015 (edited) A high press for your lad. Not sure what that mean? Edited 15 May, 2015 by Gemmel
Gemmel Posted 15 May, 2015 Author Posted 15 May, 2015 I might be stupid (Not unusual) and I am obviously missing something, but I genuinely don't ?? What I will say is that some of the kids at your nursery ....might just benefit from TSP
GGalpin Posted 15 May, 2015 Posted 15 May, 2015 Thanks for putting the video up, Gemmel; I was one of the guys who filmed it as part of Solent uni! And the "high press" reference is from the Saints kit reveal campaign.

um pahars Posted 16 May, 2015 Posted 16 May, 2015 Have to support Gemmel on this one. The lads and lasses from Testlands do a fantastic job with some of the most deprived and disadvanted kids in our City. It's an amazing effort considering most of them are under 25 and work their butts off to help others. I've had the privilege of knowing (and teaching) quite a few of them, and it is really inspiring to see them undertake such a fantastic enterprise. Most of them are mad Saints fans who travel home and away (with the odd dirty Leeds fan), so any support we can give them would be brilliant. The Club have been amazing in their support, which has made them even more determined to succeed.

Gemmel Posted 5 June, 2015 Author Posted 5 June, 2015 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-33010541 They made it!!!! Le Tissier came down and even paid to get in!
Pancake Posted 5 June, 2015 Posted 5 June, 2015 What was the final score? 603-461 or something similar
hutch Posted 5 June, 2015 Posted 5 June, 2015 Would it have gone into extra time if the scores were level? Congratulations to all who took part, and to the club for hosting it.
