Big_Bald_Si Posted 1 January, 2009 Posted 1 January, 2009 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=11160 And apparently not on loan either, two and a half year deal!
Saint_clark Posted 1 January, 2009 Posted 1 January, 2009 http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=7377 Might as well use that one as it covers the Smith one as well.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 1 January, 2009 Posted 1 January, 2009 Has suffered from two slipped discs in his back and had surgery. He'll be using the physio's facilities more than playing for us I might imagine. However, if he manages to keep fully fit, he looks like he's a good player with a shot and someone not adverse to putting the boot in where it hurts.
SaintRobbie Posted 1 January, 2009 Posted 1 January, 2009 Good stuff. Injured kid. I'm sure he has potential, but frankly tagging Happy New Year on the end of the post on the OS is just a joke. Youth policy of relegation continues. Thank you Mr Director of Football (SLH) Lowe.
corsacar saint Posted 1 January, 2009 Posted 1 January, 2009 Perhaps the club cannot afford to put players through the medical.[May prove to be a decent signing, if he can stay fit]. As for Smith , totally underwhelmed, was absolutely dreadful first half against Reading, and was extremely lucky to be only booked, and not sent off for dreadful tackle, just before he was substituted.
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 1 January, 2009 Posted 1 January, 2009 A very good goal and rather like the Liverpool one (about a minute into the clip). From what the commentator called a corner, but looks suspiciously like a free kick to me! Some of these commentators do amaze me!
St Landrew Posted 1 January, 2009 Posted 1 January, 2009 Was going to write... bye bye Rudi, but nobody wants him at the price we'd let him go for, anyway. So perhaps we can have him just behind the striker where he always should have been.
Mowgli Posted 1 January, 2009 Posted 1 January, 2009 Good stuff. Injured kid. I'm sure he has potential, but frankly tagging Happy New Year on the end of the post on the OS is just a joke. Youth policy of relegation continues. Thank you Mr Director of Football (SLH) Lowe. I'm happy to read justified criticism but I think this will have made quite a few people laugh today. I bet your family and friends just love being around you at this time of year!!
Saint Billy Posted 1 January, 2009 Posted 1 January, 2009 Looks useful if he can stay fit, seems to have the touch of Bale about him. Hopefully as St Landrew points outs, Skacel will move up to left midfield which is his best position.
