This is why I love this club.

I simply can't imagine any other club doing something like this .... in fact I can't believe that even we have

Exactly. What a strange 10 minutes... Every time they bleeped the word P*ss I wondered how on earth this got made!

But I'm glad it did. :)

JWP! Catziano! Porchino's High Press!

Such good comical moments. "Thought you were Phil Tufnell", "WHY IS THERE A POMPEY PLAYER ON MY BOARD?!" "James Rodriguez"....**** it, it was all gold!

Superb. Hope they carry the style of communication on into the real kit reveal rather than having a collection of players all looking moodily into the middle distance.

probably the best pre thingy to a kit launch I have ever seen us do.

pretty funny

I wonder if the wallpaper in the changing room he was going to put up is a little clue? probably not

Personally I would have preferred a few miserable pikeys sitting in front of an old creased table cloth announcing a new piece of overpriced rag with fat stains on it :)

Seriously though, brilliant, shows that the club is current, streetsmart and not afraid to take a risk !

I'm loving' it :)

This is made by the same company who did the ''we are the saints'' at the start of the season I believe, and it's the same guys as were behind the ''academy promo'' video back in November which was on sky news etc.

Hope we have a long-term connection them! love the quality.

Quoting the Barry Gale wikipedia item in full (it won't stay up long):

"Dr Barry Frank Gale (born 16 July 1979) is a British professor specialising in colour and pattern psychology. He is considered to be one of the top one thousand living experts in his field. His scientific works include groundbreaking research into the effects of the colour wenge on chimps and a much heralded three page thesis entitled '50 Shades of Black and White'. Gale was the fifty-first expert to set forth a theory of colourology. He is a vigorous supporter of psychological benefits of rainbows.

He is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of Colours, which he himself established in 2004. The organisation has absolutely no official connection with, or endorsement from, the Royal Family. Gale studied Brewing and Distilling at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh but failed to complete the course citing a difference of opinion with his lecturer.

On Wednesday 13 May 2015, Dr Gale was appointed by Premier League football club, Southampton FC, as the first ever colour specialist in football. He featured as part of the clubs #ShowYourStripes campaign to launch Southampton's 2015/16 kit.[1][2]"

I loved that, properly made me laugh.

Seeing the cat (real life, not me) in the video was strange - anyone else hear about a Security Guard at Staplewood getting sacked for feeding it a couple of weeks ago?

Fair play to the club - genuinely funny.

Lovely respectful nods to The Office and John Morton's "documentaries" and great to hear Miles Jupp on the VO. Love it.

The DM have pointed out that Barry Gale is an anagram of "grab early"... Not many shirts on the first run then!

I thought it was just reversed as Garry Bale
