The9 Posted 12 May, 2015 Share Posted 12 May, 2015 7th or 8th, I don't think it will make any difference, Arsenal will f*ck it up against Villa anyway. Tippy tappy sh!te. Tippy tappy crap which had only lost them one home match all season (Man U) up until last night.
S-Clarke Posted 12 May, 2015 Share Posted 12 May, 2015 Tippy tappy crap which had only lost them one home match all season (Man U) up until last night. To be fair, last night they played an extreme tippy tap frustrating game with a team full of exactly the same player, just different names. eddie Posted 13 May, 2015 Share Posted 13 May, 2015 Arsenal just have too many of the same player. Ozil, Ramsey, Cazorla, Wiltshire. They're all the same player. Jinking number 10's, who like to cut inside. I'm not sure why he thinks he can have all of those in one team, it will never work as it will just be a frustrating watch. The game was completely killed when he took of Giroud for Walcott. Such a wenger move; now upfront they have walcott, cazorla, ramsey, ozil and sanchez who are slight variations on his favourite position. Taking off the only man who has any presence in the air and is the only out and out centre forward was a completely rubbish decision

Gives them a focal point & outlet.
ScepticalStan Posted 13 May, 2015 Share Posted 13 May, 2015 For all the praise that Swansea have received for their win, I don't think its chauvinistic to say that compared to our most similar result this season (probably the 0-1 vs United at Old Trafford), its fair to say that they were very lucky and didn't really deserve it. Whereas we locked down United's main goal threats, creative players and restricted them to no shots on target in the entire match, Swansea really did just sit back and hope for the best. There is a difference. When a chance falls for Sanchez 8 yards out and he muffs it, whilst Walcott also manages to fluff a rebound that he'd most likely put away nine times out of ten, you haven't outplayed your opponent so much as simply benefited from a great deal of luck that's gone your way. Swansea have been lucky this season and we could count ourselves justifiably annoyed were they to finish above us, which happily enough I don't think they will, even if we don't pick up another point this season. I don't think that's particular fair. They played a terrific defensive game, both in midfield and at the back. They didn't start with a natural striker, more of a false 9 - but when they did get the ball, they used it well and they had a couple of other decent opportunities themselves. I think overall it was just one of those nights for Arsenal, they could have played till midnight and not scored. As I said the other day, too many similar players in the lineup at the same time. It didn't work as there was no balance, and they were all stepping on each others toes. I think there have been games whereby we have been lucky ourselves. Chelsea away, Chelsea at home, QPR away was a bit jammy. I think we've both had similar seasons, just the opposite way round. We started like a train, they're finishing like a train.
