1976_Child Posted 31 December, 2008 Posted 31 December, 2008 I have a project deadline due on Monday. Totally behind the curve and loads to do. Going to the Man U game, so that is Sunday out. Plus I HATE New Year's celebrations. Just another day.

Wooo Bloody Hooo, its 2009, the year the economy dives and makes the Great Depression look like a veritable boiler house of economic activity. Millions are going to lose their jobs, basic services are going to fail and most sadly of all our once-proud football club is going to be relegated to the third division of English football and end up in the bankruptcy court. Yeah, what a facking party! Whooo bloody hooo...

New Years Eve is always the biggest let down of a night out after all the hype is taken out of it.

I think I will go and make a cup of tea and play on the Wii. At midnight I may look out of the window as drnk neighbours prance around in the street making fools of themselves. I think I will get int he garden about 7am tomorrow get some power tools out and start making and putting up the new fence.

I got burgled by northern schemies in Manchester on Xmas day whilst I was in Soton. So I am protecting my outpost with a baseball bat! The g/f thinks I am being silly so I might have another Southern Comfort with her after all.

About half a bottle of Southern Comfort and two bottles of white for me. From about 6pm. G'f is all tiddly on the rest of the Southern Comfort! My Alfa is going strong still... did the Manchester round trip at xmas with me just steering really! Have a good one mate!

God I miss the Alfa I had, makes my new SEAT look like an ugly piece of ****. Oh well, another thing I said goodbye too last year. Keep drinking, just because it's now 2009 doesn't mean stop....
