Let's hope that this is just the beginning and his confidence continues to grow, resulting in more goals. Will certainly increase our chances of overtaking Liverpool and Spuds.

If he was consistantly doing this all season we'd still be battling for a top 4 spot IMO. Unfortunately he went off the boil after christmas. Hopefully he kicks on now and finishes the season well

Pelle's game is all about confidence. He consistently gets at least 1 great chance a game. When his confidence is high (beginning of season and now,) he scores at outstanding rates, however, when he is low on confidence (much of the middle of the season,) he produces howler after howler. If we can get him playing confidently consistently game after game next season that would one huge step towards being a top 4 team.

Garth Crooks still gets prominence I see. Pelle's inclusion justified but Crooks' role as an expert/pundit/analyst is not. Absolutely the worst.

Agreed- Pelle's in there because he scored; same reason why 5 others are in there. This is the extent of Garth Crooks' punditry abilities.

Exactly the point people seem to have been missing all season Pelle is clearly a decent player who blows a bit hot and cold if he was permanently hot we ouldn't have been signing him for a small fee from the dutch league!
