Yep, congrats Watford. Deserve it. I think Deeney will score goals in the PL, he looks like a really good all-round player.

Huge for Bournemouth on Monday, it could be the ultimate party.....or the ultimate throw away! I hope they do it to be honest, would be a great story. That league is total value for money though.

Watford is a good away day - although might be difficult to get tickets as Vicarage Road only holds 20,000

Bournemouth win one of their last two games and they will be in the Premier League. They have done fantastically well to get where they have. As long as we get 6 points from them next season. Local media will build up a rivalry that just isn't there.

Please for Watford, a decent local away game for us, lets hope we win another on Monday night. Could be a big shift in games Southwards if someone like Ipswich or Brentford won the play offs and Burnley, Hull and Sunderland go down.

Can't for the life of me understand Boro sending the 'keeper up with 10 men. They could yet miss out on the autos by a single point.

Well done to Watford they have a good team, now for Bmouth to go up and hopefully Burnley and Sunderland go down so we have two closer away days next year, will help our average away attendance will be decent, only NUFC MUFC MCFC Liverpool and Everton are over 200 miles away.

Massively high pressure game for Bompey Monday now you just know it'll go down to the last day though

Can't think of a better game than Bolton at home though. Very average bottom half team but mathematically safe and packing for their holidays already. 4 away wins since this season, so they aren't great travelers either.

Also defeat for Boro and a draw for Norwich against 2 crap sides today are a massive bonus for Bompey. They were probably expecting to start Monday's game in 4th.

Quite the opposite, had everyone won today the pressure on them would have been huge. As it is they have two chances to get the win they need, you can't ask for much more than that.

You don't think there is any pressure knowing if you win you are up?

There's a pressure either way, but this is a better sort of pressure for them. It should push them over the line.

Yeah well done to them, good club. Hope Bournemouth join them on Monday, although after such an exciting championship season it would be a bit of a shame if it didn't go down to the last day in a way

Not as much as knowing screwing up that one game means you have probably blown your chances no.

i would rather be 90 mins away than 180 mins, wouldn't you ?

tbh ..I'm surprised...considering the pedigree of some of the the others " strong " sides in the Championship's top 8.

It may be a one season success for Watford, (and even for Bournemouth). They may carry over their success until the start of the next season, but by Christmas they'll be cannon-fodder for the majority of the established Prem. sides, and find it difficult to survive ...unless they spend " big time " in the summer.

Compare last season's promoted sides; Burnley, Leicester and QPR who are as good as dead in the water. Only a continued slump by Sunderland will keep one of them up.

I actually wrote ...as good as... If they continue their recent run they may survive, but they are not out of the wood yet.

Very good side - work with a Watford fan who advised me to bet on them winning the league in January. Nice 12/1 odds back then. Just the small task of beating Sheff Wed at home left.

Decent away day too - however, with our inability to defend out-wide yesterday we could struggle on such a big pitch.

Who says changing your manager doesn't work, Watford have had about 20 this season.

there must have been a lot of competition for their " Manager of the Month " - did any of them last that long by the way ?
