A pretty opinionated article IMHO. They talk about us "losing Pochiettino". We didn't lose him, Spurs stole him.

They dismiss Shaw, Lovren, Lambert and Lala-land with phrases their lawyers would pore over.

If it's intended as a complimentary article, it didn't read like it.

It's also erroneous, don't our accounts say that the players sold last summer fetched only 82 million £ ?

Have to disagree with you on that. The article is gushing in its praise of the club to the point of being a bit over the top.

. Anyone can stay up a season, or have 1 good year, but we've improved for 6 consecutive years. What other club has done that?

Saints are perfectly placed in terms of academy. Bigger clubs here and abroad can maybe invest more, but it will be tougher to get first team chances. Barcelona are good at giving chances, but English top clubs seem reluctant. Saints aren't so good that no-one can get a chance, but are good enough that you have to show some real potential. Players know coming here they'll have more chance than anywhere else in the country. Besides pompey obviously, because they're the bestest.

Swansea. It would be interesting to know more about their set up, see the differences.

Now the new academy rules are in place, let's see where the youngsters come from. Nothing beats home town talent coming through to play for their home town, but with expectations on more top six finishes, the net needs to go further than it is to pick up more top potential youngsters with the right character.

Last time we received compliments like that was under Strachan. He then left, we failed to get in a decent manager and went down. I hope that history does not repeat itself.

We have some big problems to sort out over the summer, Goalscorer and Goalkeeper for starters !

Are you ever an optimistic person? Think you need to take those anti-depressant pills. It may make you feel positive after reading a very positive article on Saints.

I m curious to know in what step of mind were you when we got relegated to league 1 with -10 pts?

Same as ever. I always expect us to get relegated every season. Failure to get relegated in my mind is success, nothing else matters.
