doddisalegend Posted 20 April, 2015 Share Posted 20 April, 2015 To celebrate the 10th birthday of the Football League Awards, a team celebrating the best players from below England's top tier during that decade has been put together, including a host of stars. Saints pretty well represented with three ex players........though no room for Kelvin:( http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3047177/Gareth-Bale-leads-Football-League-Team-Decade-Rickie-Lambert-Adam-Lallana-Ashley-Williams-included.html
Wrensup Posted 20 April, 2015 Share Posted 20 April, 2015 Judging by Ashley Williams' inclusion, I would have though Jose Fonte would be in there too. But I imagine whoever picked the team, they'd want to have a bit of a mixture of clubs represented.

doddisalegend Posted 20 April, 2015 Author Share Posted 20 April, 2015 Criteria make little sense. How well they did in the league? How long they played there? How they've gone on to do? I mean any criteria missing out Schneiderlin seems odd. Fonte too, and if only 1 season leaves you out then Lambert and Lallana can't be in. Walcott missing too. You could easily make an all Saints team and be fairly justified. Davis/Niemi Clyne Baird Fonte Bale Schneiderlin Cork Walcott Guly Lallana Lambert What do you mean Guly wouldn't make it? Fck off TBF it's the whole football league not just the championship so Lambert and Lallana have both racked up a few seasons
