stevegrant Posted 20 April, 2015 Share Posted 20 April, 2015 We have a game arranged against Kidderminster's fans team (Kidderminster play Eastleigh on Saturday) on Sunday morning (11am kickoff) at BTC Sports Ground on Stoneham Lane, and I'm looking for a few more players. If you're interested in playing, please let me know.

The Cat Posted 20 April, 2015 Share Posted 20 April, 2015 I haven't played for 6 months due to a dodgy knee but am prepared to lumber around aimlessly until it gives way if that's any help?

stevegrant Posted 24 April, 2015 Author Share Posted 24 April, 2015 Also looking for a referee - will pay £20 - as our usual ref isn't available this weekend (damn the cricket season beginning )
Whitey Grandad Posted 24 April, 2015 Share Posted 24 April, 2015 Also looking for a referee - will pay £20 - as our usual ref isn't available this weekend (damn the cricket season beginning ) I might be able to come along and stand in the middle waving my arms but if you can find anybody else I would advise it. If nothing else I could run the line. Actually it would probably be more like crawl the line. No fee necessary, thanks. Do I need a white stick? No, the whistle already implies blindness If you could help out, that would be great. Should be a pretty easy game to referee, it's a glorified friendly. Not 100% sure Kidderminster have managed to get a full team yet, so we might even do 9 or 10-a-side.

Whitey Grandad Posted 26 April, 2015 Share Posted 26 April, 2015 Thanks, I enjoyed the run out but my legs are ****ged now. Too much rust after a ten year layoff I suppose. Nice to meet you both

I was the bloke on the sidelines in the Saints adidas training top taking photos and videos of the ringer-assisted hilarity. Were you the dark red/maroon top taking shots with a mobile phoen, the one that asked me the score sometime around halftime? If I'd known it was you I'd have come over and had a longer chat. I won't ask you what you thought of the refereeing then, about 10 minutes into the second half my inner thigh muscles were complaining and all I could do was shuffle around the centre circle. Nice to say hello
