11/12 April Weekend other fixtures

Why? If we are to still have an outside chance of the top four, I think its better one of them goes on a bad run, we don't need to catch them both. A draw is the one thing I think we shouldn't want as they both pull further away, a defeat keeps one of them closer.

It then comes down to which one to win...

Man Utd have a tougher on paper remaining set of fixtures OR Man City who are a point closer to us and we face on the final day. Hard to decide between the two, as both have merits.

We won't be finishing top 4 regardless

More chance of catching City than United imo, need them to turn this round. I'd much rather go into the last game with it in our own hands than needing United to drop points elsewhere...

Won't catch either but UTd have to play Arsenal and Chelsea. Both v loseable. So if glimmer of hope they lose today and two more games and we go on a mental run.

I need to be more pessimistic

Yes, they are better than us.

They aren't playing particularly well - still have to go Stamford Bridge along with some other tricky away fixtures. Whereas City have a 'kind fixture' list and are 4pts ahead of them. Sure as shyt

Our position has more in common with Liverpool at the moment than not - never mind that we have a game against City.

Either way, city have West Ham at home next don't they. Which they will probably win. And at best, have a 7 point gap over liverpool and 5 over us. Assuming liverpool win tomorrow and we beat a very thought Stoke side

Be interesting next weekend

84:43 on the clock.

Did Martin Tyler just say:" if they don't **** up......"!!!?

Just rewound and it was "buck up".

Despite our very slim chance of catching City for 4th spot, I'd have preferred City to win the Derby. Most United fans I know up here are bad losers and graceless winners, and are unbearable after a derby win. Had to laugh at Gary "unbiased" Neville's description of Utd's 3rd as "on the edge of offside". If we had TV reviews then this game would now be 2-2.

No sturridge in Liverpool squad, picked up another injury. Shame!!

Good good, just a pity they started to work out how to play without him a month or two back.

They have a LOT of injuries and suspensions, but Newcastle are utter garbage at the moment and Liverpool are still very likely to win.

Why do they continue to show this game- just because they played a 'Sky classic' twenty years ago. This fixture never ceases to bore or disappoint.

Talk about flogging a dead horse.

It was like the Sunday supplement saying it is now arsenal who will push Chelsea for the title...As if that is actually happening

They should forget the over blown attention at the top of the table and really give the bottom end far more space in the papers

Remember that 4th goal y Collymore cost me about £100 on the work pontoon as cause them to bust. Classic my ar se

And back then £100 was enough for a deposit on a house
