Would expect Clyne and Morgan to do, no real doubts about that.

Toby will probably return to his club, he was only a loan anyway so never one of ours.

I can't see us losing much more tbh, it won't be as horrible as last summer. And thankfully we have a stable management in place right now....so we can plan for the positions that will open up. That's why I can see Clasie and Tonny as nailed on signings - they'll be the midfield reinforcements. Clasie, for me, would be a major coup for us. Probably only get 1 or 2 seasons from him, but he's a damn fine player. Very morgan-esque.

At the back - I can see us getting someone like Bruno Martins-Indi - had a move to Porto, but it's not really worked for him there. Left sided CB, powerful, dominating CB (with the scariest eyes I've ever seen).

Boruc is going to walk, Mayuka will probably go out on loan

Gaston and Osvaldo will the interesting ones....I cant see any difference between Djuricic and Gaston myself. I would keep Gaston personally.

Ossie will be sold at a cheap price no doubt. Failing that, another season on loan

I think the club will cut ties with Gaston to be honest. He's not going to cut it at this level, that's pretty clear now. He's had a season at Hull and has been pretty pants for them, bar one or 2 flickering moments - and that's all you get. All we'd be saying is ''Oh, get Gaston on the bench in case he can make that pass....'' - but it's always in hope, rather than expectation, and 3 years into his contract that shouldn't be the case anymore. His wages and squad position should be used on a far more useful player.

I think the difference is Ramirez really wasn't happy with only being a bit part squad player, plus from our side, Djuricic might be costing us less in wages, paying him an amount that works for a squad member.

true. Probably how it all happened.

I wonder if Hull have any ideas in signing Gaston permentantly should they stay up

Ramirez - Will probably get sold back to Italy at a knockdown price.

Osvaldo - Probably another loan because nobody wants to get lumbered with him permanently

Toby - Will probably have bigger offers and end up at Spurs or Liverpool

Djuricic - Haven't seen anything from him to suggest he is worth keeping.

Elia - Has done little since the Newcastle game. Wouldn't keep him.

Clyne - Probably end up at Man U

Morgan - Will probably also leave

J Rod - We will probably be forced to sell if he doesn't sign a contract extension. Will probably go to Spurs.

Boruc - Will leave on a free

Mayuka - Probably another loan. He is likely to be on more money here than anyone else will give him.

Pelle to Barcelona ahaha ;)

JWP to Man City ;)

In all seriousness:

Morgan, Clyne, Toby all definitely gone. Osvaldo and Gaston also likely to go.

- I think Morgan / Clyne / Toby are gone.

- We'll be lucky to shift Osvaldo permanently but should snap the arm off anyone who wants to buy him.

- We really need to shift Gaston permanently this summer, as he can leave on a free after that.

- Really hope we can hold onto Big Vic. (Would love to see him alongside Clasie in midfield).

- Would be surprised, but very happy if Jay-Rod signs a new deal.

As most are saying, it's unlikely that Clyne and Morgan will still be here next season. I think Alderweireld could go either way.

For me, it's absolutely essential that we keep Wanyama.

I'm not too bothered about losing Clyne and Morgan. Clarke and Vilhena will replace Morgan, and we obviously need two right backs to come in and I'm sure the club has their targets lined up.

I think it's been pretty clear from the statements made recently that if we are in Europe next season, there's a plan to build out the squad to cope with that, so my hunch is that we'll see a net increase of 4 or 5 players. We'll quickly forget about those departing.

I'd go the other way. Djuricicicicic wants to play for us, Gaston thinks he is too good for us. And I'm sure Gaston costs us twice as much in wages. Not entierly sure Djuri should stay, but can't see any future for Gaston, unless he drops his wages and ups his attitude.

I don't think that's the case what so ever. Dujuric has actually come out with a quote along the lines that he expects to go back to benifca, as it's such an 'important' club. Whereas Gaston has never wanted out of here massively, he just doesn't suit this league full stop.

Don't have a clue what Djuricic is all about to be honest. Not seen enough.

It's not about who leaves it is about improving the squad and bringing youngsters into the first team.

Like it or not this is our business model and personally I love it. Seeing one of our youngsters blossom into a great player is brilliant. Sadly it is with other clubs at the moment but gradually that will change.

We have defensive midfield players in abundance. Having both Vic and Morgan on the pitch at the same time is a bit over the top and is clearly blunting our attack.

Morgan going won't be catastrophic so we should say au revoir to a great servant. Reed will either support or understudy big Vic.

We won't get much for Clyne so he needs to see his contract out, no question. We have no cover at right back and will need a year to sort that position out.

Top of the list needs to be a striker like Ings or Austin. Saints will need to pay big money there is no choice. If JRod comes good then that is a bonus but I have my doubts.

We have never replaced Lallana and I had hoped that Ramirez would do the job. Sounds like Classie is on the radar which would be good.

A goalkeeper is an obvious must but there are plenty around.

After that it will all be about the youngsters. I watched Jack Stephens on TV last week and he looked good. He plays a very attacking role for a centre half and reminds me of Toby. I would like to see him in the squad replacing Toby who isn't ours so no good saying he's going. Yoshida is good cover and I'm sure he will come good. Jordan Turnball had a good game as well so we don't need any centre halves. Having said that keeping Toby however unlikely should at least be an aspiration.

Hopefully the journeyman overseas players like Elia and Mayuka will be reduced, and we'll see more youngsters coming through. Surely Seager, McQueen, Gallagher, Sims will be given their chance.

JWP will have to score a goal sooner or later and when he does watch the big clubs circle. Hopefully we can resist their overtures.

As Europe is on the cards the squad needs to be a lot bigger. A lack of depth to cover injuries has made life difficult but its still been a brilliant season and whatever happens in the summer I'm looking forward to next year. We've known worst times.

Well we did that last year and it didn't hurt.

The problem is if we keep loaning average cheap players then they will need replacing every year.

Saints aren't City or Arsenal and never will be. This is our way and no doubt there will be rocky seasons ahead.

Agree with most on here that we'll see Clyne and Morgan move on and Toby wont sign for us.

With that in mind, i'd like to see us bring in Trippier at right back, Clasie to replace Morgan and if available, Kongolo could be a decent signing at centre back.

We then need to add competition up front and Ings would be my top choice - he'd quite quickly takes Pelle's place i reckon. If JRod does come back to fitness then we have some great options up front. I know there is lots of supposed interest in JRod and if he doesnt sign a new contract i appreciate we're under pressure to sell, but i'm staggered that any side bigger than us would gamble on JRod having not seen him play for us since his injury. He might be half the player than before.

If we make the Europa, we will probably need a few more bodies through the door as well - would let Elia go as he just doesnt really do a lot but would Djuricic if he's available cheaply as he looks to be decent technically and think he'd benefit from a good pre-season with the team.

I'm certain Ronald will have his eye on a few other randoms that we havent even considered as well.

Absolutely dumbfounded that someone has said "Morgan going won't be catastrophic" above. He will be an enormous loss from the team - unless we bring in a superior replacement, and that list is pretty short to begin with. I guess I should be used to it.

Losing Alderweireld and Schneiderlin is a bloody big hole, and no-one is going to convince me that Yoshida and Reed wouldn't be a step down, so transfers incoming will be what determines our chances next season.

Of course, this also means that we have to buy that many more players to offset the ones leaving that the standard of those incoming will surely take a hit overall. We will, most likely, need to add depth already this summer to cope with the demands of European matches. That's one of the reasons I wouldn't be surprised to see us add Elia permanently - he's shown potential, he's not an international so he gets more of a break than many others, plus he's got 6 months of the systems and coaching behind him. Good enough squad player, even though he's shown he only plays well for Saints in a yellow shirt.

Not sure why so many people are keen on Trippier, he hasn't had the opportunity to get forward being at Burnley and he's nothing like as athletic, agile or quick as Clyne - plus his crosses into the box recently have been very floaty and easy to defend. Not really sure who we should be considering at right back to be honest, not many of them out there. Jenkinson looks like our kind of buy - on loan from a top 4 side to someone below us in the table and probably looking for a permanent move. Plus he had a decent 6 months before West Ham's injury crisis hit.

I wonder if the top sides are going to be more wary of flogging their off-casts to us after Bertrand's turnaround though.

Thought he was very Gaston-like in his drifting around wafting a leg at the ball when he came on in his debut and have seen nothing of him since. Elia has at least shown what he can do, albeit on a very limited basis. He was completely anonymous going forward at Everton, but at the same time, we didn't have Coleman overlapping and sticking crosses in, so he must have been doing something defensively.

This. Both of them have been fundamental to our success this season (and MS for longer of course) but in that slightly boring, unspectacular way. They go unnoticed, especially TA who is efficient in an strangely anonymous way.

Highly likely our supreme defensive record will leave when those two go. But the blame for that will fall on those left behind rather than those who have gone.

But not one the club can do a whole lot about we are losing him one way or another so we better just hope we can find decent replacements . This is the nature of the club being not quite big or good enough to stop the annual summer plundering that will come with being the best of the rest. I take some pleasure from the fact that Spurs and Liverpool are probably going to have problems holding on to the likes of Sterling and Kane.

I recall seeing a few bits and pieces here and there, notably in Kenya (IIRC).

His agent is regarded as a slippery eel anyway (although I guess you could say, which agent isn't?!) - so we'll see how it goes.

I think we will do a "Morgan" with Victor this summer. I can't imagine the club would consider losing both of them in one summer but if he has another good season with us he will go to one of the big boys for the CL. On the plus side I've just seen citeh are allegedly after Coutinho :D

Oh that reminds me actually - wasn't he the guy who apparently wanted a ton of money for us to conclude the Victor deal in the 1st place?

I can remember Cortese refused to pay it.
