They certainly do love to talk - Have you seen their Boleyn Insider?

It's a bit like an extended "Jack Sullivan tweet" where they actually talk about stuff that's going on with transfers behind the scenes.

Utter madness. But with those wallies in charge not at all suprising.

On the other hand he is Polish so probably already has family in Southampton. Just need him to do a Lovern to his parent club....

He is said to be desperate to leave behind Champions League football and has already told friends he would turn down the rumoured interest of Arsenal to join the fastest growing sports brand of Southampton FC

I hear from his hairdresser that his head flew into Southampton this morning......

MAGPIES IN FOR AUSTIN

Newcastle are closing in on a deal to sign QPR striker Charlie Austin, who is keen to join the club, according to the Newcastle Chronicle.

The R's front man is currently away on international duty with England and a fee is yet to be agreed between the two clubs.

However, Newcastle are confident are getting their man as they believe St James' Park is his preferred destination this summer.

That would be very disappointing.

I thought the deal was done and we were signing him?

Going to activate a 7 million euro release clause for Malaga striker Juanmi, according to a Spanish paper.

Never seen him play but he scored 8 in 34 La Liga apps last season and he's 22 years old.

Nowhere near as good on the defensive tasks really, Cabaye is a bit of an in-between player who's fading fast.

He's a bit of a fragile flower as well.

That's a bit of a worry

I had a tip from a decent source at St Marys that Cabaye was a strong contender to replace Schneiderlin if he goes but it appears Cabaye would not be a like for like replacement

I couldn't remember what type of player Cabaye was.

The other bit of news from this source is that a deal with Charlie Austin is getting closer to completion but this only reinforces speculation elsewhere on the forum

Austin is 2-9 to sign for Newcastle and 8-1 to sign for us. If anyone has inside info they could make a packet if he ends up with us.

I see Cabaye as a West Ham sort of signing myself, he'll not want to take a pay-cut.
