hypochondriac Posted 5 April, 2015 Share Posted 5 April, 2015 Don't think you can really make a judgement on djuricic. He has looked quite good to me but he has hardly played.
SaintLiam Posted 5 April, 2015 Share Posted 5 April, 2015 Tadic starting to find his form again, looked a lot better recently. Elia and Djuricic don't really offer anything and I'd rather have Stevie and JWP in attacking midfield alongside Tadic with Mane and Long up front, miss Cork seeing him doing really well at Swansea though. Pelle coming so close, of course it would take a keeper who has been quite poor all season pull off a worldy save and the first clean sheet in 16 games to stop him. Should not be started however. Roboze Posted 5 April, 2015 Share Posted 5 April, 2015 Ahhhhhrrrrrrgh this season has been awesome!! yes our lack of depth is now showing, but this season from a management perspective is already done, they will already be looking at next seaeson, get behind your team and have a little faith! SarniaSaint Posted 5 April, 2015 Share Posted 5 April, 2015 Elia, Djurcic, even Tadic... Pelle? Agree about Elia Djurcic who knows hasn't played enoughn Tadic and Pelle are the real deal.............just my opinion
Saint_clark Posted 6 April, 2015 Share Posted 6 April, 2015 Elia was excellent in the first half away to Everton. I really don't understand why he gets so much stick. We got some excellent balls into the box on saturday but nobody was f*cking moving, not just Pelle but anybody from midfield.
TheCholulaKid Posted 6 April, 2015 Share Posted 6 April, 2015 Elia was excellent in the first half away to Everton. I really don't understand why he gets so much stick. Agreed. He had to do a lot of defensive work against Lennon and kept Coleman sufficiently occupied that he (Coleman) couldn't do his usual good work going forward. Haters gonna hate, tho'..... This^^ I was hoping Djurcic was going be the dynamic AM (with goals) that we need JWP and Davis are neat and tidy but not doing enough going forward for me. I guess Ronald isn't rating Djurcic though as he isn't getting much game time.

stevy777_x Posted 6 April, 2015 Share Posted 6 April, 2015 Since the Newcastle game, ever since Elia has been in the team, we have had loads of problems in scoring. Just a trend I ve noticed. He was out of the team against Palace Chelsea and Burnley --> goals Then back in for Everton --> no goals Would not take him or djuricic this summer, think we can get better. Ntep of Rennes is a player i like a lot, pacy unpredictable and plays on the left. Kante, the player we were linked with the other day is getting rave reviews in France. hackedoff Posted 6 April, 2015 Share Posted 6 April, 2015 The defensive additions this season have been great. The offensive buys ( except for Mane ) , have been woeful.

Charlie Wayman Posted 6 April, 2015 Share Posted 6 April, 2015 After yesterday's results the top four is settled. Now as one wag observed yesterday it's a battle between three to see who can avoid the Europa's! It is well known that Pochettino hates the bloody tournament and deliberately ensured Saints avoided it last season, now after a lack lustre performance by Spurs on Sunday perhaps he is already working things around to make sure Spurs avoid it this time. Of course all three cannot be seventh so a good thumping by Hull would certainly help us but that bloody goal difference may be more of a hindrance than a help come the end of the season. All three are at home this weekend so it'll be very interesting to see if any of them try to win. I'll bet we lose 1-
Dr Who? Posted 6 April, 2015 Share Posted 6 April, 2015 I doubt it's that blatant but I do think Spurs season will drift away now. We can and should finish above them. Even if 7th gets Europe, I want top 6 after the season we've had. 5th ideally, although Liverpool's run in doesn't look too bad so I guess that's unlikely. If we lose to Hull then we really do risk being caught up and being 8th or 9th, which would be so depressing after this season. Yes I have a feeling that we could be looking back at that loss to Swansea, but only if we screw up completely. Swansea run in, is pretty easy. I expect us to finish 7th, which for me will be a great season. We really have been spoilt as fans and love watching Saints!

Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd Posted 6 April, 2015 Share Posted 6 April, 2015 I wouldn't be bothered if we didn't offer Elia a permanent deal. Typical winger - flashes of genius but too inconsistent.
