EBS1980 Posted 5 April, 2015 Share Posted 5 April, 2015 I know the stats are good for us when we score first this season, as we have only dropped 2 points (chelsea at home) but does anyone know what they are for when we go one behind?
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 5 April, 2015 Share Posted 5 April, 2015 I'm pretty sure the only game we've won from behind this season is West Ham away in August. Not sure about draws.

Believe so as yesterday shows we don't quite have the ability to break down teams who shut up shop once they get ahead.
Saints foreva Posted 5 April, 2015 Share Posted 5 April, 2015 We must have a pretty crap record when going behind since we got back to the PL. I can only think of the West Ham and Villa (12/13) games where we've managed to turn it around.

I thought both yesterday and the West Brom away game were similar - if we'd got the first goal, we'd have gone on to win comfortably. Easy to say in hindsight I know, but it makes a massive difference to our game. Both matches the opposition sat deep, let us play in front of them and time wasted the game out. We came from behind to get a draw at Villa and at Chelsea and at St Mary's against Ipswich in the Cup - but we don't draw many.
