S-Clarke Posted 4 April, 2015 Posted 4 April, 2015 Liverpool are being destroyed. They are a mess. I wonder if the genius that is rogers, has got it wrong? Again?
Saints foreva Posted 4 April, 2015 Posted 4 April, 2015 Liverpool are being destroyed. They are a mess. I wonder if the genius that is rogers, has got it wrong? Again? Hopefully. Can't stand the ****.
K,Billy's supersound Posted 4 April, 2015 Posted 4 April, 2015 Liverpool are being destroyed. They are a mess. I wonder if the genius that is rogers, has got it wrong? Again? it is only 12mins and 0-0
iansums Posted 4 April, 2015 Posted 4 April, 2015 Not one of the 6 ex-Saints are in the starting line up. Come to Southampton, improve, get called up by your national team, get noticed by the big clubs. Leave and sit on the f**king bench.
Batman Posted 4 April, 2015 Author Posted 4 April, 2015 3-0 cracking finish by sanchez keep going arsenal
lifeintheslowlane Posted 4 April, 2015 Posted 4 April, 2015 The Arse now doing what they threatened to do earlier in the game More please.
S-Clarke Posted 4 April, 2015 Posted 4 April, 2015 That scoreline is fully deserved. A big old GD dent would do nicely.
syd_barrett_saint Posted 4 April, 2015 Posted 4 April, 2015 Get in. Love to see Liverpool get beat comprehensively. Hope it's a miserable day for all Merseysiders today.
S-Clarke Posted 4 April, 2015 Posted 4 April, 2015 (edited) Someone needs to get sacked based on their summer business. They wasted that Suarez money so badly. I'm sure I remember that a Top 4 finish was the minimum expectation this season for them. At the end of the day, Rogers broke a fairly stable team. He's not the savior of anything. Lallana, ok, with Emre probably the best of a bad bunch but hasn't pulled up any trees. Lolvren. Says it all. Markovic - i think he's been utter pants. Balotelli - what do you say? Tosh Moreno - a left back who can't defend. Great signing Lambert - A striker they don't play, even when they didn't have any. You could go on....Orgi who they loaned back out, and can't even score for Lille. Javier Manquillo, doesn't even play. Genius. Edited 4 April, 2015 by S-Clarke
Lighthouse Posted 4 April, 2015 Posted 4 April, 2015 Sterling's head is already at the Emirates. He is probably watching in amazement at the great team and dreaming that one day he could play for them. Hope the irony isn't lost on them.
Lighthouse Posted 4 April, 2015 Posted 4 April, 2015 And we've still got Lovren on the bench And we've still got Lovren on the bench And we've still got Lovren Still got Lovren Still got Lovren on the bench
max_saints Posted 4 April, 2015 Posted 4 April, 2015 a win later will see us finish the weekend above both Liverpool and Tottenham! business as usual?
Saint_Tony Posted 4 April, 2015 Posted 4 April, 2015 They went on a good run, but their squad simply isn't good enough. Everyone's slating Sterling, maybe he just wants to play for a better club? It's only pro-Liverpool people saying it's the best place for him
Saint Garrett Posted 4 April, 2015 Posted 4 April, 2015 Emre Can will miss the next game then. Real shame it's against Blackburn in the cup, rather than a league game.
Saint Garrett Posted 4 April, 2015 Posted 4 April, 2015 Kolo Toure has been appalling this game... He is appalling tbf...
marc_saint Posted 4 April, 2015 Posted 4 April, 2015 Emre Can will miss the next game then. Only the FA Cup game against Blackburn though
Saint-Armstrong Posted 4 April, 2015 Posted 4 April, 2015 GOAL: Arsenal 4-1 Liverpool - Olivier Giroud 91'
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 4 April, 2015 Posted 4 April, 2015 Giroud is so underrated. Great striker, in every way. Link up play is top class.
austsaint Posted 4 April, 2015 Posted 4 April, 2015 Giroud is so underrated. Great striker, in every way. Link up play is top class. He really is a clinical striker. And why did Man U let Welbeck go?
Batman Posted 4 April, 2015 Author Posted 4 April, 2015 but dont forget adrian. Rogers is one of the great managers in English football
Lighthouse Posted 4 April, 2015 Posted 4 April, 2015 Not very often you score a goal and then walk FORWARDS for kick off. (Yes I'm exaggerating but only just)
SW5 SAINT Posted 5 April, 2015 Posted 5 April, 2015 Not one of the 6 ex-Saints are in the starting line up. It's quite some stat that. Someone was saying earlier in the week on TV(can't quite remember who) that Walcott's reading of the game had failed to develop as expected since joining Arsenal!
Sour Mash Posted 5 April, 2015 Posted 5 April, 2015 Compare Spurs performance today to our recent performances. They're being completely dominated by Burnley. Kane or Erickson will probably nick an 89th min winner though.
Lallana's Left Peg Posted 5 April, 2015 Posted 5 April, 2015 Compare Spurs performance today to our recent performances. They're being completely dominated by Burnley. Kane or Erickson will probably nick an 89th min winner though. Which is why it's important to have finishers!
beatlesaint Posted 5 April, 2015 Posted 5 April, 2015 Compare Spurs performance today to our recent performances. They're being completely dominated by Burnley. Kane or Erickson will probably nick an 89th min winner though. Poch has been very lucky to have stumbled across Kane this season, Spurs are average at best, especially when Kane doesn't get a kick. They probably will score in the 93rd min however !
S-Clarke Posted 5 April, 2015 Posted 5 April, 2015 This has an 89th min Eriksen winner all over it. Burnley have hustled their way through it, but the lack of quality in their site is seriously alarming.
Sour Mash Posted 5 April, 2015 Posted 5 April, 2015 Agreed, they've been very lucky stumbling across Kane who's made the difference to an otherwise average side this year.
Sour Mash Posted 5 April, 2015 Posted 5 April, 2015 Burnley have hustled their way through it, but the lack of quality in their site is seriously alarming. Why on earth is it alarming? What quality would you be expecting from them?
Batman Posted 5 April, 2015 Author Posted 5 April, 2015 This has an 89th min Eriksen winner all over it. Burnley have hustled their way through it, but the lack of quality in their site is seriously alarming. alarming..? they beat us at theirs and looked very dangerous at ours the other week
S-Clarke Posted 5 April, 2015 Posted 5 April, 2015 Why on earth is it alarming? What quality would you be expecting from them? Alarming in the context of todays game, they can play better than that. But it was a bit turd.
CWD Posted 5 April, 2015 Posted 5 April, 2015 Good result, the battle for 5th (and a chance to finish above Liverpool and Spurs) is well and truly on
