Black Sea Saint Posted 29 March, 2015 Share Posted 29 March, 2015 In a 2-1 win to Fonte. He played most of the game having came on in the 17th minute. Tadic started but was subbed on 78 minutes, whilst Djuricic came on in the 65th.
Saint_clark Posted 29 March, 2015 Share Posted 29 March, 2015 It's good to see Fonte becoming a regular part of the Portugal team, rather than just getting a token call up.

supersonic Posted 30 March, 2015 Share Posted 30 March, 2015 Fonte looked a bit over-whelmed during the game - was at fault for the goal. However, the people of Portugal seem to like him and want a pairing of him and Pepe which is good news for JF.

Not sure he was at fault for the goal, though whoever played Matic onside definitely played a role. Thought he got beaten too easily in the air from peach of a cross from Tadic. Otherwise he didn't have much to do and was pretty solid. By contrast, Djuriric seemed to have a death wish when he came on.

He was marking Matic and then failed to track his running leaving him completely free to score
