why would you join Celtic? yes you'll probably win the league (if you didn't you really are rubbish!) you will probablt get champs league (without an ice creams chance in hell of winning it) so surely he should come here? go to Celtic and become a footnote in one of the most boring leagues in the world or come to saints and be a legend!

I like that Koeman has a knack of looking for good talent that hasn't quite made it elsewhere. Elia, Djuricic, and now Odegaard, though I doubt we'll ever get to see the best of the two we already have, unless we sign them on permanents.

How has Odegaard not quite made it?

 

No point developing him when we can develop our own, let him go to Celtic as there's no chance he'll be up to Premier League standards yet.

He wouldn't come to Saints to stay, he'd be on loan. Plus the manager who gave him his chance at Stromsgodet is Ronny Delia, the now-Celtic manager.

my point was why would anyone pick Celtic over us? unless they want an easy ride.... i wouls rather join a club that was trying to re-write the history of football, then a club that always kills its league because they have a bit of cash and the others don't! same reason as if i was a footballer i wouldn't sign for city, chelsea etc, i could live on 20k a week! to many greedy people in this game...... i'd play for £1k a week shame i'm nearly 40 lol
