Batman Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 He was atrocious today, but in fairness Rodgers was playing him at wingback. Absolutely mental. Like playing Mane there. Anyway, Gaston Ramirez started for Hull. rogers is a great manager though. one of the great managers of english football.....so we are told
Convict Colony Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 From a liverpool fan after the game without a hint of irony Quote from: Gonebay on Today at 03:24:44 PM Money won, football lost today.
trousers Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 Business as usual for Chelsea. 1 nil up after 2 mins.
Convict Colony Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 Great goal by hazard, he really is quality
Convict Colony Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 Also chelsea shows everyone else how to get value for money when you spend big. Great save by courtois.
Saint_clark Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 Pele was on the pitch longer than Gerrard today
OldNick Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 Skrtel should be handed a 3 match ban as well, with some tough fixtures coming up for them. Lovren back in the side? I'm sure Mourinho will have something to say about it as well
Wiggles31 Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 Gaston has looked very good in the last 20 minutes I've seen.
Dark Munster Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 battle now on for 5th? Would love it if we finished above Liverpool and Tottenham at the end of the season I haven't given up hope for 4th. But finishing 5th, ahead of Brenda and Poch, would be a very nice consolation.
Batman Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 Gaston looking much fitter. is djuricic any better? not that I have seen
Saint Without a Halo Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 (edited) Worth a United win just to wipe the smile of Rodgers smug face and hear his ridiculous cringe worthy defence of Skirtel's last minute stamp on the keeper Race for 4th not yet over the top teams all play each other many times yet so an opportunity if we can put a run together Edited 22 March, 2015 by Saint Without a Halo
VectisSaint Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 Didn't realise the JPT final was today brings back happy memories:) Bit early this year, 28th when we won it, my way of remembering the wife's birthday.
Edmonton Saint Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 Gaston playing really well. When we dropped vital points against Swansea, West Ham and West Brom recently, could have done with an option like him on the bench.
Avenue Saint Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 Gaston showing his worth here. Having a fantastic game
Batman Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 Well, if gaston has no future with us. Maybe hull will buy him?
Saint Without a Halo Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 Gaston at his creative best today trouble is he doesn't do it consistently enough yet! Maybe he is finally getting the hang of the premier
Saint_clark Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 Gaston at his creative best today trouble is he doesn't do it consistently enough yet! Maybe he is finally getting the hang of the premier No less consistent than Tadic.
Saint Without a Halo Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 No less consistent than Tadic. To be fair he has had two seasons longer to get used to the premier and its demands
Lets B Avenue Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 QPR losing 2-1 at home to Everton. In no way the fault of H J Redknapp Esq.
scotty Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 To be fair he has had two seasons longer to get used to the premier and its demands And also to be fair, he didn't get much playing time with us under NA or MP. I'm sure MLG could check the facts on this, but I'd reckon he's played more minutes on loan than he played for us.
Dalek2003 Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 Well, if gaston has no future with us. Maybe hull will buy him? Well, he is in the shop window. If we can get back half what we paid for him, I would be happy.
lickierambert Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 Bit early this year, 28th when we won it, my way of remembering the wife's birthday. 8 of that year's squad have played in the Premier League this year, which is incredible if you think about it
Dan Johnson Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 Top 4 is a massive ask from here, but the one good thing about that is there is no pressure on us anymore. 5th would be an outstanding achievement, especially finishing above Pochettino, Lovren and Lallana. I know we have Everton away, City Away & Tottenham at home yet, but utd also have Chelsea, Arsenal & City to play too as well as a tough trip to Everton. So I can see at least 12 points for United that aren't nailed on

Bucks Saint Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 Spurs match is going to be ridiculously massive. Please
SaintTex Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 Spurs match is going to be ridiculously massive. PleaseI like that it is the early game on Saturday. They pressure gets piled on when you already know most of results from your competition over the weekend.
foxy9143 Posted 22 March, 2015 Posted 22 March, 2015 One of the weekends 'other games' with a tenuous link to Southampton....thanks to Suarez we may keep Koeman for another season at least!

sadoldgit Posted 23 March, 2015 Posted 23 March, 2015 Bit early this year, 28th when we won it, my way of remembering the wife's birthday. Will always remember how happy Marcus looked, and how p*ssed off Cortese looked.
Professor Posted 23 March, 2015 Posted 23 March, 2015 Having read the reports on here, it may be helpful that Gaston can't play against us in the next home game but I do wonder if loan players are healthy for the game by giving the loaning club an unfair advantage, not just against the loanee club but in relation to other teams where the borrowing club can play their strongest team.
Charlie Wayman Posted 23 March, 2015 Posted 23 March, 2015 Gutted this morning. Fourth certainly gone so a three way battle for Europa League. Spurs maybe won't want to get involved in that again for fixture congestion reasons and remember Pochettino was anti-Europa when he was here. OK we get a bit more money for 6th than 7th so maybe that's what we are really playing for now?

Loan players are healthy for the game, but very unhealthy indeed as its set up now. imho, loans within the same division should not be allowed. It gives the richest clubs yet another trump card, which some of them play routinely and regularly, most notably chelsea.
