lloydie Posted 16 March, 2015 Share Posted 16 March, 2015 Not a bad team from us to be fair. Alot that have played in the 1st team or been knocking about the fringes of the 1st team like mccarthy. (Not sure if is the regular line up we pit out to be fair, dont follow it as much as i'd like!)

John Boy Saint Posted 16 March, 2015 Share Posted 16 March, 2015 Strong! 10 players with Premier League experience in the starting 11, very nice! How many over age players can you use as Gazza, Gardos, and Djuričić are all over 21 (that said Djuričić is only 23)

SaintLiam Posted 16 March, 2015 Share Posted 16 March, 2015 How many over age players can you use as Gazza, Gardos, and Djuričić are all over 21 (that said Djuričić is only 23) Three outfield players. Gazza doesn't count, so we were using Gardos, Djuricic, and Isgrove.
AussieDog Posted 16 March, 2015 Share Posted 16 March, 2015 Watched it on my phone before I went to work this morning. I thought Gallagher worked really hard out on the right. Some good defending and looked strong on the ball as well. I think we made hard work of it with the strength of team we put out, though. Defence looked really solid. What on earth did the Liverpool guy do to get sent off? It looked like he had a verbal with the linesman when he didn't get a free kick but there must have been more to it to get a straight red? david in sweden Posted 17 March, 2015 Share Posted 17 March, 2015 Aside from the use of those over 21 players...the rest of the side were also U21's ----just like Liverpool's, so it bodes the question - why is our Academy better than there's? ..not only did the U21's do the double over L'pool (won 3-1 at Anfield in October)....when we played with a notably younger squad. Good all round performance from Sam Gallagher, but although Ryan Seager didn't flattening every blade of grass, he's always the right man in the right place at the right time. Goal #
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 17 March, 2015 Share Posted 17 March, 2015 Good to see Sam Gallagher getting back to where he was. Thought he was especially good in the air last night and he worked his socks off.
