Tadic Improving...

Great to see him back to being a threat again. Was really good today and combines very well with the full backs to release them. Certainly does that better than Mane or Elia IMO.

He looked brighter when he came on versus Palace and was certainly involved in more dangerous areas today.

Good sign. Now if we can get him to shoot...

I wonder if he's better when Pelle's not on the pitch. One or two incidents at St Mary's where body language between them has not seemed very positive, and it is perhaps not co-incidental that both their drop in form happened at similar times.

I don't suppose the improved performance was due to being back on the left?

I think he's so much better there as he can go either way and a lot more difficult for a defender. Such a shame he didn't go for goal in the second half when he beat 3 or 4 Chelsea defenders because they assumed he was going to pass; I don't think he could believe the opportunity had arisen and thought he ought to make the pass that they were all expecting.

Sorry he does not cut it for me - he had a wonderful opportunity in the second half but dallied and took three touches he didn't need to before looking for another player. I would get rid.

A touch harsh, but there were times today when he was frustrating to say the least. The fact that he prefers assists to goals means his first instinct is to pass when he has a great shooting opportunity.

Agree Charlie. Much better than Elia and djuricic on today's form.

Meh, I like what Elia brings, id buy him, good player. Djuricic hasnt done anything to make me want to keep hold of him though.

Id like to see tadic pull the trigger more though, has a decent left foot that boy

Tadić can go missing for long periods. But there's no denying he has been the catalyst for a lot of key moments in big games this season. Assists and goals against Liverpool (away), United (away), Arsenal (cup), Chelsea (home and away).

Wouldn't be too quick to get rid of creative players who can perform against the better teams.
