Edmonton Saint Posted 15 March, 2015 Share Posted 15 March, 2015 Living in Canada as I do now, TSN are very good for showing Saints games, if they don't show us then Sportsnet do. Charlie Wayman Posted 15 March, 2015 Share Posted 15 March, 2015 They do serve beer and nosh at the local pub and with absolutely no buffering whatsoever. Having used dozens of so-called "brilliant" live streaming sites to watch Saints in recent years, it is usually a waste of time and a real test of patience as buffering ruins pretty much every webcast including I might add the BT Sport games for which we pay a subscription so it's not just the freebies. Don't even bother now. High speed BB seems to make little difference. OK we live in the sticks and not the centre of town but from what I hear it isn't much different there. Need instructions for Apple Yosemite too please.

mcjwills Posted 16 March, 2015 Author Share Posted 16 March, 2015 (edited) Go fiber at 40 meg and you have no problem. The additional cost for fiber with all the deals around makes it a no brainer for the advantages. This could be offset if it works by dropping the sports package if you have one. bender Posted 16 March, 2015 Share Posted 16 March, 2015 I've been using Xbmc on my Andriod phone, Windows laptop and Raspberry Pi for a while and there have been some pretty good add-ins, namely Mashup and NaviX. They work for a while and in the end they're just unreliable. I tend to go back to http://www.eplsite.com for my Prem action. I tried adding this add-in as per post 1 above and again it seemed to work for the Saints game yesterday but was so unreliable for the Man Utd game. But I've added these streams from post 20 above into my VLC player and they seem promising. Looking forward to trying those link when a game is on. I just opened up VLC player, chose View - playlist - Media Library - Advanced Open - Network - Enter URL and Enqueue .

The9 Posted 18 March, 2015 Share Posted 18 March, 2015 I am a bit suspicious of these "Free" gizmos, I wonder IF or how much spyware comes with it?? Kodi seems to be on the level in that it's basically opensource, which is something I can't say for the current hive of spyware which is my streaming app on my tablet... but as it's the easiest interface and the most consistent stream finder I tend to keep it despite all the pop-ups in the tray. I've found my v13 XBMC add-ons getting less and less successful at actually tracking down streams over the past few months. I suspect it may be to do with the streams linking to sites blocked by my ISP thanks to the government's over-active copyright blocking legislation, which I don't recall anyone actually voting for. The9 Posted 18 March, 2015 Share Posted 18 March, 2015 Thanks ..... Using Kodi, is there a way that these streams be downloaded to hard drive to watch later? There are add-ons for football which can be used as a database of matches to watch pretty much anything in full retrospectively, not sure if any of them allow for downloading but as long as you can get to that, why would you need to keep it?
